We Staved here on a family vacation and i strongly encourage you not to stay here. Upon check in we were greeted by a rude desk person and a bill for $364.00 utility bill for 2 units for 1 week which was never disclosed prior to arriving. The entire staff was rude and we were even yelled at by housekeeping...

Thank you for your review - the information you recounted is very important to focus on resolving the issues you took the time to mention. We are in the process of deep refurbishments and Staff building projects. As you are aware, economics being what they are, we are doing this organically, and not adding financial burdens to the existing Member-base....

Stayed in the Marlin building which is furthest from the beach, but such a close walk down to the ocean it didn't matter. Our 1 bedroom with full kitchen, living room and Bahama room was perfect for up to six (we were only 4). Kids had their own queen sz pull out sofabeds w/plenty of room to walk around. Large...

Did a timeshare presentation here, and was able to utilize the facilities thereafter. We found the staff very attentive to our desire for freshly cut coconuts. The waterslide was great, and the beach on the property. They also have banana plants, and sea grapes growing all over the place so come hungry and leave happy!!! They seemed to have decent...

We stayed here as part if a timeshare type of deal. We were in the Ocean building third floor ocean view. The room was ok definitely older. But very clean. We had a loft with a queen bed and full bath for our third guest. The bathrooms are all ver small. Showers are very small. Nice balcony with view if...

We were gifted a week to stay at any RCI property and based on dates available and our schedule we came across Taino Beach. Much like other reviews, our room was in the "Ocean" section and to say "it was very poor" may be an understatement. The rooms are very outdated and have been worn very badly with little to...

Wanted to respond to your review as you took the time to post your experiences during your recent stay. Understanding that your unit was in our oldest phase and was apparently one with some maintenance challenges, I apologize sincerely for the equipment failures and such that you experienced. Obviously, design and fixtures in some of the “not as yet” refurbished...

My Wife and I have been members of this beautiful resort since 2005. We upgraded our membership to the newest section as soon as construction was completed. This was the best decision that we could have made. We now have all of the amenities that you would want. while on vacation. We have made many friends here over the years...

This resort is beautiful, the beach is amazing and never crowded. The pool is gigantic and again, never crowded. We were very satisfied with the room and the resort was clean. However, Taino would be PERFECT if they replaced their staff. Upon checkin, we received two keys and that was it. We found out about activities and discounts only through...

My husband and I just returned from a 7 night stay at the Marlin at Taino Beach in a one-bedroom unit that was an RCI exchange. Very nice unit, spacious, modern and clean with view of the large meandering pool with bar in a man-made cave. There are three buildings: Marlin, Coral and Ocean, the Marlin being the newest. Staff...

We have been coming here since the early 90's, at this point in out=r lives several times per year. We have travelled extensively and we always feel like we are returning home when we stay at Taino Beach Resort. We have stayed in all 3 buildings and actually prefer the Coral Suites (middle building) for the large patio and private...

Taino Beach is an interesting combination of rooms and activities best for older folks and moms and dads with very young (9 and under) children. Described as a mature resort-the landscaping and buildings are very attractive. The interior design, including the defunct patio pools, are funky leftovers from the 60s. Must say however, that all was very clean, recently painted...
