We are currently staying in the lighthouse points section. There are no words to explain how disappointed we are. We have stayed at both secrets and sandals all inclusive and this resort doesn't even come close. We came to play golf for a few days. The food is horrible, the rooms are not stocked at all with anything other then...

Hello Sun6568, Once again, we would like to extend our apologies that your stay with us didn't meet your expectations. We’re glad our team on the premises worked with you to make the best of the rest of your time, including arranging for you to enjoy the golf course after all. A very nice hotel. We stayed at the Lighthouse pointe which is good for families as it is quieter and more relaxing. Rooms very spacious, staff very friendly and helpful, the scenery stunning. The all-inclusive package is of a great benefit. The local marketplace is across the street. I would definitely recommend it.

We visited during Thanksgiving which was a off season. Which was nice because there wasn't many people staying . It's right in the middle of everything. The only bad thing was none of the pools were heated. We opted to rent our own car which helped on the price for excursions. The hotel is beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay...

I have stayed at this resort 4 times and will be returning for a 6 day stay starting Dec 27th. Each of my previous stays have been wonderful. Beautiful beach & pool areas, very good selection on restaurants and a good value. My concern is will the Breaker's Cay section of the resort be open and all the hurricane Mathew...

Was there just before Hurricane Matthew September 2016. We had a fantastic vacation! We sailed from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Bahamas on the Grand Celebration ship. Then a 20 minute bus ride to our resort with a very nice driver David. Met by wonderful staff led by a beautiful room. The pool was inviting, clean and refreshing. The food was...

Nice hotel, but you do not have many options to eat.and usually the food in this area is very expensive...but Bahamas is always a beautiful place.....enjoy...The beach is clean and the front is a square with many options.

Our trip to Bahamas was during the low season and despite the showers during lunchtime, it was the best time of the year - no kids, few people and lots of sun and warm water. We booked a room in Lighthouse Pointe which is the new building in the Grand Lucayan resort. We first got in through the main building...

My wife and 5 other couples went to the Grand Lucayan from Palm Springs in February for a winter get away... The hotel is nice enough and the pool looked nice, but the time of year wasn't the best choice. Weather was in the 50's/60's, not pool weather. Also, there are only 2 bars there to go and frequent and...

It was nothing great! The beach front, the clear water (if the sun was out) was absolutely the best thing about the resort! Other than that there is nothing to do in Freeport besides water sports or paying to dive, parasail catamaran etc. We came off the cruise ship and did the all inclusive package don't even bother standing in...
