If I knew what I know now, I would've rather stayed at a tent. At least in a tent, no service is free. I stayed at the Island Seas Resort from Dec 3-10 2016 in room 3079. The experience was awful - it honestly felt like the employees working were on vacation themselves. The rooms weren't ready until after dinner...

Our family purchased two time share units here 17 years ago. While this is a great place to come and relax the years along with Hurricane Matthew have not been good to the faculties. They need to do a complete remodeling of this facility. The rooms are dirty and in very bad shape. Overall we had a good relaxing time...

My family and I stayed here as one of our timeshare weeks. It was a total of 4 adults, 2 teens, and a 4 year old. The rooms were quite spacious even if a little spartan. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed strolling the uncrowded beach and playing in the amazingly warm water. Very relaxing without much hustle and...

This resort is quaint but offers dinners and entertainment. It quiets down in the evenings and is kept very clean. Some of the condos are currently being renovated but everything you would ever need is at the resort. There is a restaurant, free shuttle service to Solomons market to get groceries, and also a cab to Port Lucaya to shop...

If you're looking for a 5-Star resort with all the trimmings, keep looking. But if you're looking for a quiet get-away that is not expensive or deluged by the hustle-bustle of the bigger resorts, this one is for you. Small, intimate, unpretentious. Warm, friendly staff, lovely beaches and a slow, easy-going way of life. If you want a trip to...

I traveled to the Island Seas Resort, on Grand Bahama Island, in March of 2016. The resort itself is 3 Stars out of 5, in my opinion. It is an older facility and showing its age. The rooms are essentially apartments and are dated. The heavy steel entry door are built for security. The TV has limited channels for viewing,...

Lovely beach-side resort with an ocean view from almost every unit. Three floors with no elevators. Staff is wonderful; even more friendly and very accommodating than last year. Tasty food concessions a short walk along the beach in either direction. Several restaurants, casino, and entertainment a short shuttle ride away in Lucaya. Small convenience store on property and hotel provides...

The resort is run down and in need of repair.they have no entertainment for the guest and it is not in operation 24/7 . It was a experience. The resort ownership has partnered with local business to rip off the visitors by send them to local market that locals will not even shop in because if the sky rocket prices.

We had an ocean side view room and it was very comfortable. The beach is amazing and beautiful. I would go back for just that alone. The courtyard and pool area are beautiful. The restroom was a little pricey, but the breakfast was especially yummy.

Traded our timeshare out for this place. Less than impressive. Slightly run down not terrible but it's clear that upkeep is not top priority. Staff at the Bar are quite accommodating and friendly. The rest of the staff seem to act like you are putting them out no matter what you ask for and the since the gratuity is included...
