This was our second time staying at the Island Seas Resort. Both times, we came in mid-February. Last year we had weather that was in the low to mid 70's with a couple of really breezy days and cool nights, but this year we had better weather with the temps in the upper 70's more consistently. When the sun is...

To be perfectly fair, I will share that I just came off of the best vacation of my life in December, going to LeBlanc Resort in Cancun, so maybe, just maybe I'm a tad spoiled. However, this place is a dump! Think Motel 6 with no service and cockroaches! Yes, you heard me right. I even took pictures to prove...

The people of this island are very nice and welcoming. They also move at a rate that is almost backward. Allow yourself PLENTY of time for whatever you choose to do, as nothing gets done fast on this island. The room was adequate, nothing spectacular and very dated. I did not like the shower/tub.

We stayed at a condo next door, but had access to all the facilities. Had lunch the first day, food was mediocre and expensive. Service was terrible, waited 45 minutes to get food and had to go to the bar to get a second drink. Went back for dinner the next day. Waitress brought menus but never came back, we...

We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, but the resort is in need of renovations everywhere. Pool tiles were falling off, the pool was not clean and was freezing, beach chairs are sunken and horrible to sit in. Bathroom cabinet doors were falling off. The appliances all worked, but are very old. The AC and fans worked,...

Same comments with all the other bad reviews - same issues, booked through RCI and got sucked into the pitch again, but managed to get past that. The hotel is old and needs updating badly, and needs repairs too. We had a 2 bedroom that was clean but also needing updating. The beach was horrible, was told it was a...

Approximately 60 days prior to our arrival I called the resort to inquire about status of resort since the hurricane was Oct 2016 and we were visiting in March. I was told they were in great shape and no problems at all. We arrived at 2:30 pm and check in is at 4. It was 5:30 when we finally got...

In a nutshell, everyone I spoke with complained about this place. Service was the WORST I've ever seen anywhere. Extremely slow, waitresses have attitudes (except for the manager) and people were waiting 1-2 hours for their food. Breakfast wasn't good but lunch and dinner (when we finally got it) was good. One time for dinner buffet the BBQ oven chicken...

When I arrived to Freeport, I was shocked with the state it was in. The economy clearly is having great difficulty improving since the hurricane last Fall. The hotels in the area were no exception, especially the Island Seas Resort. Lack of staff at the bar (only one bar tender) is unacceptable, especially for those guests staying all inclusive. When...

I was very skeptical of staying at Island Seas before we got there as all reviews I read were very negative. Let me just say, we were pleasantly surprised that the reviews were mostly false! This is a great spot, not 5 star but for what we wanted/needed a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo on the beach it was perfect!...
