It was a fairytale come true !! Some things were a little unclear at the beginning. We discussed this with the receptionists and they understood us immediately! You can discuss everything with them, no question is too much. They are super nice !! The hotel had just reopened! We had a great re-new our vows day / evening !! The wedding planners / receptionists filmed, took pictures, which is very important to us! They helped put on the dress, hair and a make-up artist. You can ask for this in addition to the package. The arbor, the flowers, cake looked beautiful !! The candlelight dinner was fantastic !! And all the dear now friends of the animation gave us a great party !! There were only 2 of us, but because of them we were with family (that's how it felt) ... All the staff, restaurant, bar, reception, entertainment, everyone made us feel that we were important! A fairytale day !! Just pampered throughout the holiday for 14 days. Nothing was too much! Had a lot of fun! Danced a lot with animation team in the bar / disco, yoga class, snorkeling, catamaran dangers, At Beautiful swimming pool with delicious cocktails. The food was sometimes buffet, or a la carte. But everything was delicious. The room was clean. We had been upgraded. Room with sea view. The day after the ceremony we had breakfast in bed. Everything in packaging. So covid proof. We will definitely come back to this piece of paradise on earth !!! On a beautiful island with all very nice people, whom we have held in our hearts. Thanks to, Manuel head of animation who made the great party possible, and every day and evening together with his team made sure that we really were on vacation. Made everything possible, even we were allowed to determine our farewell party. Everyone had done their best to get to the gala! Guilia and Elisa who guided the ceremony and made the antourage fairytale-like, always remained friendly and patient. Paige, Allisa, Pauline, Rubi, Javier, Silver, Dustin, Amaurys, Leano who gave us the feeling that we belonged every day and gave us the ultimate holiday feeling. As if we were 1 family! Nnana, Diane, Meco, Andrew, who made us feel like eating out and never having to wait at the bar for a drink. And all other lovely members of staff !! And of course Doctor Love who did a great photo shoot with us. Captured on a photoalbum.…
This has turned out to be a vacation nightmare due to Viva Wyndham. Before booking, I read a press release that Viva Wyndham is offering on site covid testing to alleviate the stress of trying to get back to the USA. We are only staying for the weekend, 3 days, and just arrived today. The front desk supervisor who checked us in had a horrible attitude and seemed like she did not want to be there. She could not even give us directions around the resort, let alone where to get a towel; took 2 hours for that one. First thing I asked was to schedule a covid test which the signs says "ask the front desk". She told me to go to the Bahamas covid website to schedule. The website She gave me will not allow me to schedule a test until the day we leave, cause they do not operate on weekends and on top of that, I have to find my OWN transportation to the medical center on the opposite side of the island. Now I have to spend 1 of my 3 days trying to find transportation to the medical center, going for a test, and making it back in time to catch the airport shuttle. That doesn't even guarantee we will get the test results needed in time. The best part about this is no one at the property seems to care and no one wants to help, they just brush us off to the side and tell us to figure it out on the website. My girlfriend who is less than 25 years old is a cancer patient with an MRI scheduled for the day after we get back and that took 6 months to book, but yet again no one here cares about that nor the fact that this could be the last trip she could ever take...I have never in my life seen such a lack of empathy, customer service, and guest service. They don't care what their website says nor want anything to do making sure guest can get their covid test in time for their flight home.. NEVER STAY AT VIVA WYNDHAM BAHAMAS!…
We have just arrived at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Bay and this trip has been nothing less of a nightmare. We are on a weekend trip of only 3 days and need a Covid test to re enter the USA. Before coming, I saw on line in a press release that Viva Resorts was offering on-site Covid testing to alleviate the stress of traveling back to the USA. Upon arrival we were greeted by the front desk Supervisor who had a nasty attitude and seemed like she hated her job. She couldn't even tell us where to get towels for the beach! We asked right away about scheduling a Covid test to get home and she told us to go to some website and schedule it ourselves. The partner medical Pavillion they partner with does not offer covid test on the weekend and will only schedule it if WE find our own way to the Pavillion. Do not believe Viva Wyndham and its' lies! Now we have to spend one of our 3 days of vacation running to a Medical Center Across the island at our own expense, and then making sure we get back to the hotel in time to catch our airport shuttle and hope we receive our test results. My girlfriend is a cancer patient at risk of missing her MRI that was scheduled months in advance and the Viva Wyndham staff does not seem to care what happens to their guest, whether they're able to get home or not. She's less than 25 years old trying to see the world before it's taken from her,, and this is how we're treated.. What a scam and lie!…
Do you like cockroaches? If so, this is the place for you. This hotel is just sad -- old, weatherbeaten, and frankly disgusting. The photos must be from a long time ago. Because now it's moth-eaten and the furthest thing from a luxury hotel; much more like what I expect to see in a developing country than a beach destination. Would not recommend anyone stay here.
This vacation was a great experience for my, I enjoyed a lot and I would like to come back again. I knowed a lot beautiful people. Mama inma, la negra tania, perla, Bianyi, and all of animation team!!!!
