Just got back from our Memorial Day trip from Freeport and Pelican Bay resort. What a fantastic place to stay. We even found ourselves ranting to other people we met on this trip that were staying at the Radisson and the Wyndam. First off, we arrived very early before check-in and just assumed we would leave our luggage and roam...

Beautiful, well appointed rooms. Small, Caribbean style look with resort amenities. Location great, next to dive operation and snorkle boat docks, shopping marketplace next door for restaurant choices. Have to use beach across the street at the Radisson. Front desk staff, bartender and waiters need training and attitude adjustment for friendliness. Such a contrast to everyone else we met everywhere...

My husband and I just returned from yet another wonderful stay at Pelican Bay, located on Bell Channel Bay at the Lucaya Marina. My husband, Allen goes for the bonefishing (H20 Bonefishing--a first class guide service with headquarters at the hotel) while I spend time at Taino Beach Resort, (you take a free 5 minute boat ride to it) with...

This place was fantastic. We spent five nights here in the middle of our honeymoon and just loved it! Our room package included a copy of the New York Times delivered with fresh pastries to our door every morning, which we read outside on our sunny balcony overlooking a swimming pool and the marina. Fabulous! The room was enormous as...

When we decided to plan our wedding in the Caribbean, we quickly determined that a big "wedding factory" resort wasn't the right fit. We sought out Pelican Bay based on their reputation as an intimate wedding destination capable of personalizing our experience-- ensuring that our 75-guest wedding was both uniquely tailored to our vision and flawlessly executed. At Pelican Bay,...

I stayed at pelican bay for five days in late April. The hotel was nice, however I was surprised with a couple things. Such as: There is no beach at the resort, you are on an inland channel and have to walk to a public beach at the Radison. The breakfast provided is the same every day, and not that...
