The room I got had hand painted furniture, old curtains, and a box TV from the 70's. The breakfast buffet is nothing to write home about. No beachfront. Need to walk 10 minutes to the beach. The have a boat shuttle to the beach but not very frequent. The restaurant is expensive and the portions are small. The bathroom fan...

I joined two friends for what we thought would be a nice relaxing vacation. We are avid and frequent travelers and we stay at no less than 4-star hotels so we are clear on what 4-star means. This place was a huge disappointment and is definitely improperly rated and should be no more than a 2-star hotel – unsanitary, moldy,...

Just arrived yesterday after a long day traveling. After changing the room because the couch was broken and the safe wasn't working they move us to another room on the 4th floor. Very happy with this room. The view is breathtaking and everything is in great shape. Had a Nespresso coffee in the morning. Last night we had dinner at...

Excellant resterauant on grounds and within walking distance of local shops. Felt safe walking back, at night, from the Agape resteraunt in those shops. Lots of jewelry shops there. Still recovering from hurricane in August, but working at fixing things.

I stayed in the suite 441 ( i think) over looking the water during my wedding weekend and it was lovely. The suite was clean and comfortable...the rustic decor is very inviting. Love Pelican Bay Hotel's ambiance.

After a few room changes (pay the extra for the estate or suite rooms, so much nicer then the badic) few are having a great experience. The staff and front desk staff are great, friendly and accommodating. Great location to harbor, food. Drinks, pools, beach. All you need.

The Pelican Bay was one of two hotels which was open to guests following hurricane Matthew. The hotel got in touch with us prior to arrival to warn us about the lack of amenities and facilities that we may encounter in Freeport which we appreciated. The hotel was in great shape and would not have thought it suffered any damage...

I visited three months after Hurricane Matthew and it was great to see progress on the clear up. As far as The Pelican was concerned you wouldn't know there had been a hurricane. My room had a great view over water with mini kitchen facilities if required. Extremely quiet it was the best sleep on the islands I have visited...

Stayed here with a group of people during a dive vacation in June. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly throughout the stay. The grounds were nicely maintained and had a number of pools to enjoy. The on site restaurants had a variety of options and everything came out great. The free breakfast was also a nice feature and...
