The staff at this hotel were extremely accommodating! My husband was feeling ill and the chef came up personally to see what he could provide. I don't think we'd stay for many nights because we like to have our own kitchen and if we are going to do the hotel thing, would probably prefer compass point given its ocean front...

I was in a group of 4 scuba divers and booked at this hotel as they were one of the partners with Stuart Cove. We were disappointed to find that they did not accommodate divers by offering their breakfast (which was included in the price) early enough for us to catch the shuttle bus to the dive location. There were...

The hotel sits high up on a hill including a lot of steps to walk up which is nice for those of us who love to walk but would prove difficult for physically challenged people. The room was nice, clean, quaint. The only problem was upon arrival they sprayed some air freshner which made me sick so I had to...

Like most of your reviewers, we stayed overnight while waiting for a connecting flight to one of the Out Islands. This inn is totally charming, quiet and with great views. The staff was so very helpful, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and a nice European style cold breakfast included. This is our new Go-To place when passing through Nassau....

We are so pleased we stayed in this lovely B&B at Gambier Heights. It's very very convenient for the airport, only 5 minutes taxi ride$15. We were warmly greeted by Marcia on reception she explained all about the house and had our bags taken to the room. What a pleasant surprise the room was, it was simply furnished but had...

Stayed for 1 night before flying home. Rooms are very nicely renovated with high ceilings, quality furnishings, and outdoor spaces. The pool area and large verandas are unique and private with wonderful views. We chose to order pizza for dinner to have on the veranda overlooking the ocean; we brought our own bottle of wine and the hotel staff provided place...

This is a great hotel if you want something a little different and quirky. You do need to be aware that there are steps, so not suitable for the infirm. Also that it is very close to the airport so there is some aircraft noise, but it doesn't disturb your sleep. We stayed one night in a ground floor garden...

We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It gave us more of a real "island experience" than we would have had at a big cookie-cutter resort. We arrived before check-in time and our room was ready. The staff at the desk were always helpful and there was always a friendly staff person around to see if you...

Disorganized staff. No balconies on the suites. Had dinner one night, not good at all. Checkout was painfully slow. Shower went from hot to ice cold and repeated that pattern for the duration of use. The " honor " bar gets locked at night, wasn't aware of this until I went downstairs to get something to drink at midnight. They...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At the west end of New Providence lies an exquisite hideaway. A STONE'S THROW AWAY is perched on one of the highest elevations by the coast. Here our Guests can indulge in a rare panoramic view of Nassau 's land and sea. The scenery boasts the best of the island's natural wonders, from the native pine forest by Lake Killarney to the brim of the coral reefs that protect the glimmering beaches of west Nassau. The property was recently built to echo the traditions of an old Bahamian home: wood floors and wood ceilings, louvered shutters and a large wrap around porch bring the visitors back to a quieter time long ago when the music of the islands could be heard in the whispers of the trade winds. ... more   less
