Disappointing menu, not particularly good value, unimaginative presentation - think roadside cafe rather than upmarket hotel Except for the marvellous domed entrance lobby, the hotel interior was seemed quite gloomy and dated

Nice pool, food good, clean, staff very friendly as are all the Bahamians! We have stayed at this hotel many times, always happy with our stay. Very close to Bahamas Ferries. Super bed! Only negative - a lot of add on fees... Not so good. But that is the same at all the hotels in Nassau. Blame the government not...

My wife and I went the Hilton in the Bahamas for our wedding. The food and service at the Hilton far exceeded the Norwegian Cruise Line with went on. the gardens were incredible, it make myself and my guests feel like we were in a hallmark movie.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend stay for a birthday for my younger brother , excellent room on the 6th floor with a balcony overlooking the city. Front office team was amazing " Anna, Tiffany, Allancia, Enoch, Patricia, Deeanya " all amazing. Located in downtown area so the busy strip was literally a hop and a skip away. Was made aware of...

The only 2 things is that the room didn't had any robe and there wasn't any tv remote. The overall Experience was excellent the service was good, the bellmans were very respectable and on point. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is right in downtown Nassau - walking distance to everything with its own private beach that is stunning and calm. The staff here worked hard to please us and made sure that we were happy. The food was excellent and the rooms were clean and nice. Annatolle Clarke made sure our rooms were connecting as we were traveling...

Hotel staff can't be bothered to answer any questions, provide basic hotel services, or resolve any issues. Worst service for any Hilton property I have been to. - Bad smell in the hallways - No hot water - Internet is sketchy at best

We were in Nassau for one day and purchased the $65 beach pass which included a food credit. It was 1:00 pm and there were no available tables in the outside dining area. Our server said he would get us a table once available. Stood around for 30 minutes and requested drinks several times. After one hour, I asked our...

I really enjoyed my stay at Hilton. The beach was wonderful with plenty of chairs for hotel guests. The cruise ships pull up to a port within sight of the hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. The food options at the hotel were decent, but I was in walking distance from many restaurants and attractions. A lot...

I don't much care for Nassau as a Port destination. It is fine if you are there to trinket shop and check out the local food within the Port areas. I have been to all of this Island's beaches and next time I will leave the ship to trinket shop, enjoy a conch salad and go back to the ship....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Situated on downtown Nassau’s only private beach and the site of Old Fort Nassau, the British Colonial Hilton in the Bahamas has undergone a multi-million renovation throughout all areas of the hotel, and offers a taste of the island’s rich history, along with some of the most modern amenities for both business and vacation travelers. What’s more the hotel is only 25 minutes from Nassau (Lynden Pindling International) Airport. The hotel is a true Bahamian experience with a marble-tiled lobby and is studded with palm trees under a skylight ceiling. There are 288 luxuriously appointed guest rooms with harbor or island views. All rooms are furnished with tasteful decor, complemented by separate shower and bathtub. One-bedroom suites offer a separate living area with sofa bed, and Executive accommodations are also available along with the Executive Lounge, where attentive hotel staff assures that every need and whim will be met during your stay. Recreational activities are convenient and varied for leisure and business travelers alike. A 300-ft long private white sand beach is furnished with lounge chairs and thatched sunshades overlooking the harbor offering a peaceful and secluded access for an ocean swim or a day in the sun. Use of kayaks and snorkeling gear on the beach is complimentary. Bordered on one side by a tropical garden, the hotel's freshwater pool offers harbor views and has an expansive sundeck with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Both the sundeck and beach offer views of cruise ships moored nearby, and of the western tip of Paradise Island, 300 yards offshore. Guests can snooze in hammocks on the lawn adjacent to the pool. The property can also organize trips out reef snorkeling island exploring, boating, golf, tennis and scuba diving. For dining options, Aqua is a fun, casual restaurant serving international favorites with a Caribbean flair, or guests can meet up for cocktails at the Bullion Bar. The new Bullion Bar is the 'place to be seen' for happy hour with great drink specials and tasty snacks. ... more   less
