The staff couldn’t be more accommodating and sweet. The setting for a resort is what you would expect and more. The bummer is the quality of the food. They need to take it up a level to match the rest of the offering.

We go to St John about once a year and we stay at the Westin about 70% of the time. We enjoy the resort's rooms, grounds and beach. I was worried that after the hurricane, it might not be as good as it once was....I also worried that there may be a lot of construction noise

From the minute we arrived, the staff was welcoming and accommodating. The room was bigger than we expected, a two bedroom instead of the one bedroom we booked, an upgrade at no extra cost. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it easy to cook the super fresh fish we caught in

sg982018, my sincere thanks for taking the time to write a review of our property. Your positive comments are very much appreciated by our staff, who work hard each day to make sure valued guests like yourself, are looked after. We were pleased to read you liked the size of the room and your fully stocked kitchen. It sounds as though you had a memorable vacation fishing, cooking and playing on our Westin St. John Beach with your 8 and 11-year-old boys. We look forward to your next visit with us.

The Westin is open and looks great. The new lobby/bar is under construction but everything else is good. June is great- little rain, warm. Upper 80’s. Can get crowded though.

The Westin St. John re-opened in January 2019. We visited 3 weeks ago and were amazed at how much had been accomplished. The beach, pools, and rooms have been completely brought back to 5 star status (with some remaining buildings still in process). The old lobby building is gone and will not be replaced. The ferry is working, though it goes from Red Hook now. There is still evidence of the utter destruction on the island. It is sobering.
