Unit and amenities are very casual, comfortable and friendly. Clean and being well kept. Location to Magens Bay is excellent. My wife and I went to the beach every day. Enjoyed sitting poolside. Food and drinks available poolside. Good restaurant poolside. Staff very accommodating. Other restaurants and activies are nearby, easy to get out and move around the island by...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Magens Point. The staff at the resort were top notch. The resort itself is in need of some update but, they are working on it. It is an older building but, the staff was so friendly and went out of their way to accomodate every need. Lori at the front desk was very friendly...

We spent a week. We had a great time. We experienced Bonnie with 4 days of rain and then a small earthquake. We made the best of it as did all of the other guest. We shared lots of laughs, cocktails poolside and played scrabble with some new friends. We also managed to come home with a great tan and...

Ok so it you are like me, you've read all the reviews from the last few years, and I can honestly say I was skeptical about staying here, but we were committed to the trip and so we went, and all I can say is "It was awesome"! yea I read the 2008 reviews of "worst place ever" but this...

So many things about this resort are wonderful...the pool, the restarunt, good beds, staff and million dollar view from our balcony. But the bad points were so bad and irritating.......the walk up many steps to our third floor unit without any help with luggage, the ants and bugs, two leaks in the ceiling in the shower (after the second day past...

While I am not in denial of the statements made by this guest, I would like to clarify the circumstances under which they happened. To begin with, we are a two star, unpretentious small resort on your way to Magens Bay, and we rate as one of the friendliest resorts on this island. If the guest had issues with hauling...

Magens Point Resort is close to Magens Bay, rated one the top 10 beaches in the world. The resort is old, but is being renovated. New tile, appliances, and air conditioning are just a few of the improvements that have been made. The staff is very interested in providing for any items you may need to make your stay more...

All the doors to the Villa's swing outward, with the latch exposed. We were there for our Honeymoon, and still had our cash on us, we were going to get travelers checks the next morning. But that night, they had a party by the pool for all the guests, and while we were down there with everyone else. A person...

A quaint little place, it seemed that they are trying to approve on this resort bit by bit. I was quite worried when the first day we were there we heard buzzsaws going off nearby. The bed was kinda hard but able to be slept in. The view from the room was incredible! Also the food was very good from...

This resort was fabulous. The view from the balcony of the bay is breath-taking. All of the employees went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They even have night time security on the weekend, which made us feel very safe. Almost everything you need can be found at the resort, and if they don't have...

I consider myself a well rounded traveller. I have travelled to various locations around the world. I have stayed in the beautiful hotels in Italy through Venice, and throughout Europe. I have also travelled through the interiors of Belize. But this letter is not about my travels, rather to express my opinion of travel and Magens Point Resort. I have...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Flamboyan on the Bay Resort & Villas is a two and a half star, unpretentious and very relaxed resort facing Magens Bay. Our facilities include two restaurants, one Italian finer dining featuring a wine-mojito bar, and the pool sports bar with burgers, bbq, pizza and sandwiches. We offer two jacuzzis, tennis courts, a coffee-deli-wine on site shop with breakfast, a gaming room, a small fitness center offering also yoga, zumba and massage services. All our studios and villas have been tastefully redone, and are fully equipped with kitchenettes, microwaves and small fridges, plus energy efficient air conditioning units. Most units also face Magens Bay, and you can wake up to spectacular views of the bay, or watch the sun set from your balcony while sipping the cocktail of your choice.Last year RCI awarded us recognition for excellence in hospitality services, and since 2010 we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading our facilities. We may not be for everyone, true. But if you are looking for that "limin" effect that locals brag about.. come stay with us. We promise you an unforgettable experience. Flamboyan on the Bay Resort & Villas is what the islands should be all about. ... more   less
