My husband and I honeymooned here in 1986 and returned for our 30th anniversary to find it is still a wonderful place for a private, romantic time together. The location is convenient to the ferry for St. John, groceries, shopping and nightlife in Redhhook. The staff at the front desk is friendly and helpful, providing maps and beach towels at...

We stayed the last week on June in suite 101 and enjoyed our stay very much. Pros: beautiful villa, our own private pool and pavillion which is great if you aren't in the stage of your life where you want to share the pool with tons of kids. Ac in the bedroom was fierce! Loved it. Was beautifully decorated. Very...

We very much enjoyed unit 116. It was up to date, had all of the amenities and best of all, the owner obviously takes great pride in the place. We felt very welcomed there, loved the room, and very much having our own very private pool.

My fiance and I saw a listing for one of these units for sale and then another unit was for rent. HOA monthly fee was insane, the kitchen for both units where about 6x6 super small like a small walking closet. The property in general is very old, the pools needed repairs and resurfacing badly. It's located a short safari...

My wife and I just returned from St. Thomas and our stay at Pavilions and Pools made this vacation that much more enjoyable. We were in pavilion 120. This unit had everything from a private pool/deck to a barbecue grill, two flat screen televisions, king bed, pull out sofa bed, full size kitchen, beach chairs, cooler, and there were even...

Don't know why so many trash this place. I know it's a bit rundown but hey! Look what you get! YOUR OWN PRIVATE POOL!!! Step out your bedroom and jump in the pool. Kitchen well equipped. Very short walk to Sapphire Beach. Just walk out the end of property through the secure door turn left and follow the road to...

Reserved via Airbnb. As others have said, the units vary but our privately owned unit,108, is in dire need of an overhaul. Furniture is not only old but filthy. Air conditioner doesn't circulate into bedroom. Pool was freezing and needs a solar blanket. Owner said it was ocean view and it is not. There is a preserve behind the building....

Decided on this vs beachfront due to pool; big mistake. Not heated, and no solar blanket to retain heat- pretty much usable. Also, most of the screens for the doors had rips in them so couldn't leave doors open without filling up with bugs. Smell on entry was musty and foul- fortunately went away or got used to it. Onsite...

A great concept, Pavillions and Pools has lots of advantages but as it needs updating it was not as fine an experience as it was the first time we went- 27 years ago! The restaurant, VICARS was delicious! One of the best meals we had on St. T. Our pavillion had lots of mosquitoes because the screens were in a...

It was the only hotel I could locate that was available for one night near the Red Hook Ferry. I don't know if it was because it was Christmas night, but it was overpriced! The villa is a cool concept: you literally have your own private pool one step off the living and bedroom area. We did not have the...

“Do not stay in ANY of the pavilions that are near the road as they will be very noisy from the traffic. Also check with person booking to make sure you are getting an "updated" pavilion since this place has been around for many years.”
