I was worried about staying here, so much so that I asked to visit our room before we checked out of our suite at the Marriott. We were travelling at a time that a visitor had a gripe with the establishment and prompted some pretty wicked reviews. All fears calmed. No, it is not the Ritz Carlton, but neither will...

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Tortola. It was very basic and old, but clean. The breakfast was very good and service is quite friendly. Must warn you that there are a lot of stairs!

I stayed here for my short stay in St. Thomas and was pleasantly surprised. It's a bit tricky to locate but once you arrive the service is great. Gayle, one of the managers is very friendly and the property is very reasonable for the price. We had a great view from our hotel room and the complementary breakfast was delicious!!!

What a fun place! Simple rooms, no frills, island character, but clean and welcoming. The views from the front landing were serene and removed you from the hustle of the main street shopping. Gail was a great host serving up breakfast every morning as guest easily engaged in conversation about their travels and experiences. Didn't mind the steps up to...

Whoa, you get what you pay for. In defense, we don't have much to compare to in St. Thomas, our first trip. BUT I can compare my room at this hotel to 1000+ nights stayed in other hotels, and our room was in the bottom five. It was a converted patio. Lousy bed, smallest room ever. Large water bugs/roaches. Roosters...

We stayed there 2 nights mid January 2014. The staff was somehow cordial at first, and it almost felt friendly in the beginning. The feeling only lasted for a few hours though. Things got a lot more unpleasant when we realized that they do not care about their customers after they pocket your money. One example: On our last day,...

We stayed at Galleon house for the last two nights of a week-long trip, the rest of which was spent on St. John. As other reviewers note, getting much luggage up to your room will spare you the workout on a stairmaster. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast added to the value proposition at the...

We needed a place to stay for one night on our way to Tortola, and I was unwilling to pay $250+ for badly reviewed hotels. A friend suggested Gallon house and we were pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival we climbed LOTS of stairs - something to keep in mind if you had lots of luggage or physical challenges. We were greeted...

We booked this B&B for a 1 night stay in St Thomas prior to boarding a boat. We wanted a location in town within walking distance of shops, etc, since the rest of our vacation would be on water and beach. This location was perfect for us. Be aware the steps in this area of town are no joke, but...

Room and bed were comfortable and nice. Could not of asked for a better place to stay. You get Breakfast cooked every morning and a variety of drinks they offer....
