This was my fourth trip to St. Thomas and we always tend to gravitate to either Marriot's Reef or the Cove next door. (more timeshare oriented) The rooms are above average, however, the ocean and harbor views are fabulous! If you are looking for an vacation spot for the family; the Cove is a better option to choose. The Reef...

Our reservations were for the Marriott Morning Star but upon entering the room we decided to change rooms to the Marriott Frenchman's Reef. The room at Morning Star was dirty there was a hole in the floor tile, a hole in one of the doors, the bathroom sink was cracked, the tub was very old with stains that were no...

Thank you for sharing your experience with our leadership team. I am pleased to read that you felt satisfied with your room at Frenchman’s Reef when you moved to that portion of the hotel and felt compelled to mention the great service and cuisine. That being said, your photos are being reviewed with the housekeeping and maintenance teams in order...

After a long exhausting wait because of planes being cancelled it was good to see our room it was really nice two rooms one for handicap and one with a king size bed. Nice kitchen and living room. the beach was a short walk and the water was clear and warm. I wish we had stayed longer. If you take...

Overall a great experience, warm and helpful staff. However the Morning Star rooms are past ready for remodeling. We were there with a group for a destination wedding and had a great time. I loved staying down at the beach for the views and sound of the surf, I didn't mind the walk up to the hotel for events and...

Our stay at the Marriott was great. The pools were fabulous and not very busy. We stayed in room 5144. We were directly in front of the pool with a great view of the ocean. We ate at sandbar and aqua Terra which were food. Breakfast buffet at aqua Terra was expensive but wonderful. The drinks by the pool were...

The nice thing about visiting St. Thomas is that everything is close. The excellent thing about our resort is that if you choose to, you don’t even have to leave the property to experience excellent views, pools and restaurants!

We had a nice stay at the Marriott Frenchman’s Reef. The property does need some updating and repair but well maintained and clean with amazing views all over the property. Although the reviews on the service appear to be negative our experience was pleasant. Nothing overwhelming but nice enough. Keep in mind island time means slow so go with that...

We stayed at Morning Star. The staff bent over backward to make sure that we were accommodated and happy. By staying there, we were literally a 30-second walk to a private beach, which was a big plus. That being said ... our room needed some work. If it was renovated in 2011 it either wasn't fully renovated or there has...

Thank you for choosing Morning Star Beach Resort for your recent vacation and leaving this review. That iguana photo is perfect! For those traveling to the island, I just want to share that green iguanas congregate at few spots here on property, mostly near the waterfall and are a protected species on St. Thomas. Guests love them as you can...

Excellent staff, food was great. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The pool was lovely. We loved everything! We are going back in March! We loved the water taxi that makes getting to town so easy.. But get a car and go to Megans Bay and spend the day.

Stay some where else. Not good for your health. The view is nice but the lower rooms have leaks from the outside. I think the hotel has been leaking since before 2005. the rooms are full of mold in the rooms and that has been proven to cause lung problems with humans.

Like all coastal resorts, humidity can be a challenge during certain times of the year. We have very strict housekeeping standards all year round and our preventative and maintenance teams are working daily to beautify and preserve our property. Despite this, I am sorry your stay was not to your satisfaction. Please know that the security and safety of guests...

Third time here, remodeled since previous visit. Very nice overhaul. Great food especially breakfast buffet. Lots and lots to do on the resort and of course all over the island and nearby islands in the way of water and land activities. Short ferry ride to downtown shopping We'll be back!!!
