This was the worst place I have ever stayed! The woman running the place is the only nice thing I have to say. The rooms are like a dungeon with missing smoke detectors and no ways of egress once you have deadbolted yourself in 3 times. I didn't not get an ounce of sleep, I felt dirty and unsafe and couldn't...

We stayed here at the beginning of a sailing trip in March. Thank goodness it was only for one night! The view was nice, however we also got to spend time looking at the trash on the hillside . Room was clean except for the really nasty questionable spots on the couch in the "suite". I slept in my clothes......

Sunset Gardens is a great place for the money you pay. This is not a resort. It is renting an apartment in a neighborhood. I would not recommend Sunset Gardens to families. There is a small pool, but nothing else for children to do. You will need a car if you want to go into town or tour the island...

Having read a few reviews of Sunset Gardens prior to my stay there, I certainly arrived with moderate expectations. However I was pleasantly surprised to find out that many of the criticisms levelled at this place turned out to be inaccurate, or at least, not applicable to the room I was staying in. The room had a kitchen/living area and...

My standards are not high, and I wasn't expecting high end. I'm completely fine with basic or hodgepodge, but this place was gross. The only reason it got two stars was because it was cheap. Every fixture in the room was missing light bulbs, the window crank wasn't screwed to the window (meaning the living room window could neither be...

I have stayed @ this hotel on several occasions, I found it to be great for the price. I was able to go to the store buy food, cook in my room and save many dollars on meals. Deb was a fabulous host. If u are looking for RITZ-CARLTON accommodation then go there. AWESOME view I will always stay here....

I had a few problems. The cable TV didn't work at all for 3 nights out of 5, despite daily trouble calls. Hot water in the sink is solar powered, so good luck shaving in the morning. There is a pump for hot water in the shower, so that was fine. But the toilet and A/C worked and the bed...

This place was not at all acceptable to my family. The accommodations were run down and pieced together. For example, the bed was pushed up against the wall so one person had to climb over the other to get in and out. The kitchen and in general the furnishings were pieced together haphazardly. It smelled like insecticide and was dark....

1) Taxi is very expensive. From STT airport for my and 4 children, with 4 small bags costed 4 ucks to get to the hotel (they charge per bag...depending on size) 2) When I made the reservations, I told them I would arrive at 10:30p. Upon arrival, the front desk lady did not answer either phone number....I even called the...

This is the Best place ever. We have the best view on the island, a pool outside my door, cable, Internet, and transportation to anywhere on the island. This is definitely my island home and the property manager, Deb, is soooooo great! She made sure we were taken care of at ALL times and she is so much fun! We...
