This review was supposed to be entitled, Don’t Come They aren’t Ready. And in some ways they aren’t. There are three uninhabitable buildings, one restaurant, no concierge, more workmen than employees but...the employees are amazing. Our first room was not great, the “ocean view” wasn’t,...More

The hotel overall is good, there’s just a lot of construction. It is pretty desolate, and a couple of accommodations are unavailable. There’s no room services or concierge, and only one restauraunt is open. It still is nice, though. Yes, there are newly renovated and decent rooms available. I just stayed there a few days ago and my room (well the second one, the first was quite dusty) was very nice. There are signs of damage from the hurricane, but it was clean, comfortable, and generally quite nice. The beach is alright, but it is a little rocky. It’s better for snorkeling than actual swimming. You can’t book excursions through the hotel since there is no concierge, unfortunately. Other hotels you can stay at are very limited. Many of them are fully booked. Margaritaville is nice, and I heard it was in better shape than the other options. If I have time, I can try to find you some other places to stay. I’m afraid I can’t be of much help.

UPDATE - I just checked tonight It's the St. Thomas Ritz Carlton. It will not be open until SUMMER 2019, Which means they have pushed it further from fall 2018 to Summer 2019! Big boo! Hope that helps!
