What a beautiful setting- perfect white sand & palm treed beach complete with diving pelicans! A very comfortable, relaxed & friendly setting with knowledgeable & helpful staff. It felt like home... without any responsibilities! The room was great with oversized stone shower, a/c, fan, large tv, comfy bed & linens and the grounds were naturally beautiful &well-kept. The pool &...

We had a most wonderful time in St. Croix at The Palms of Pelican Beach. A lovely hotel on a nice beach. Owners Chuck and Joyce and their staff truly put customer satisfaction and comfort first. You enter as customers and leave as friends. Chuck and Mitch were wonderful snorkel guides. We even got to go on a night snorkel...

We had a great time here. When our prior plans with friends were canceled on us literally six hours before we were to leave for the airport, we had to improvise, and luckily the Palms could accommodate us. The thing I was most impressed with was that the rooms and bathrooms were flawlessly clean - a huge, huge plus in...

I'm slightly obsessive about choosing the right place to stay when we vacation and this place did not disappoint. I made our reservations over 10 months in advance and we were rewarded by being put in a top floor suite with panoramic views of the ocean from a huge private deck. The owners are very nice people and the staff...

We spent a wonderful 14 nights at the Palms and still find it hard to describe the experience! We read countless reviews on TripAdvisor and were totally convinced by the seemingly endless rave reports the other visitors gave(aside from the few nit-picking unpleasables,of course) and decided to book the trip for the middle of Winter. We live in Upper Michigan,so...

My husband and I spent a completely realxing week at the Palms. The owner Chuck, was a great host and the staff were pleasant and accomodating. The beach was beautiful and watching the antics of the pelicans was quite entertaining. The food was outstanding, though service was sometimes more than slow. Highlight was the Wednesday night Caribean buffet with great...

We were so happy to have you stay here with us and thank you for the nice review. We just introduced the Wednesday night Caribbean Buffet (Moko Jumbies, steel pan band, limbo rock, etc.) here at The Palms three weeks ago. You were one of the first to see and review it, and it speaks volumes that you found it...

Do you have the special restaurant or bar you frequent because "everyone knows your name"? That is how we were made to feel at the Palms. From our first contact Ivenna, at the front desk to the cleaning lady Mama G, everyone was friendly and helpful. After spending a wonderful evening in Christiansted watching the super bowl we found our...

The Palms at Pelican Bay is a small property which allows the guest to feel like you are guest in someones home rather than at a hotel. The staff knew us by our first names by mid-week of our visit. The owner, Chuck, lives on the property and is involved in the day to day operations. Chuck is very avaiable,...

Given how much I relied on TripAdvisor to select my hotel for our trip to St. Croix, it’s only fair that I post my own review! My wife and I escaped to the island from December 26-29, 2010. We’d never been to St. Croix or USVI, and were looking for a place to stay that was conveniently located, low-key, and...

recently stayed at the palms and did not get a very good first impression.First they did not have the beach front room we reserved and paid for prior, then had to haggle with them to get a room upgrade and when we finally did there was no hot water in the room for the first night, which was half of our two...

I checked with all our staff, reviewed the records and, I’m sorry, but I can’t find anywhere where the beachfront room you had reserved wasn’t here for you. Perhaps there was some miscommunication as to the exact room that you wanted. I did see where you had declined a move to a second-floor room. The manager did upgrade another couple...

We have a tennis court and complimentary gear. There are many hiking trails on the island and we regularly make excursions with guests. There are 40 spacious rooms at the hotel, and all offer panoramic oceanfront views from expansive terraces. All rooms are air conditioned, and are equipped with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The Palms Restaurant is located on property and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Mahogany Bar is located beachside, serves up wonderful beverages, and has a late night bar menu.
