This is my second time staying at the hotel (previous visit was 2 years ago). Our room this time (301) was actually nicer than our previous room (114), even though 114 was a 2-room suite. Room 301 faces towards the ocean but on the back...More
First of all, I want to say that the overall experience was nice: The staff was mostly very polite and friendly (almost everyone greeted us with a "good morning/night" and were very helpful); the rooms were cleaned daily and any issues were promptly dealt with....More
This place is absolutely beautiful, and all of the ladies in the front office are very helpful and friendly, especially Faye (who both checked us in and out, at the beginning and end of our week). Wildlife and plants on the island are beautiful, as...More

The person that captains the boat can tell you where to go for the places to eat. The food at the BrewSTX is good, but Shupes has hand ground delish burgers.(and the best rum punch) The Mill is the place for pizza just past the BrewSTX. Most places do not have electric signs so it's hard to tell the names. Just ask, people are very nice.
