From the moment we arrived I knew this was going to be a special vacation. We were upgraded from our original suite to a 3200 sf unit overlooking pool This was done because the staff knew I had a severe back problem. That was just the beginning.
First the resort is gorgeous

I just need to start out by saying that this is not a 5 star hotel. I believed it was based on numerous ratings and TripAdvisor reviews. This is a 3-4 star resort at best, like a Marriott.

A/C in our room worked sporadically. Once we asked why it was blowing room temperature ai

Turks and Caicos is the most beautiful place with the friendliest people you will ever meet. The Somerset on Grace Bay is a gorgeous property. Our room was a spacious one bedroom with loft condo. It was by far the best room we have ever stayed in. The staff at The Somerset bend

Dear Chicagoguy2014, Thank you for your wonderful review of The Somerset. We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your spacious and well-appointed accommodations and memorable interactions with our front desk and beach staff. The beach staff are consistently recognized as favorites with visiting children and we work hard to make sure every guest has a wonderful vacation experience. Taxis are convenient, but as you point out, can be expensive for families. Many of our guests choose to rent a car to assist in getting around the island for activities and dinner each evening. Next time you visit, this may be an option for you and your family. I was sorry to read about a couple of encounters with locals as that is certainly not representative of the majority. Again, thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your experience for other travelers. We hope to welcome you back for a return visit in the future. Best regards, Kevin Reeder General Manager

Is this an all inclusive hotel? If so what does it include.
See above reviewer. I would not recommend all inclusive in Provo. There are too many good places to eat on the island. Drinks there are priced OK and if you want save on drinks, you can buy bottles in the local stores and make your own

I saw it nearby but didn't ask about the price. Sorry.
