Detailed Reviews
I arrived at 2 am after the driver they arranged to pick me up at the airport had to wait 1.5 hours for me but still was there and charged me a fair rate for the 45 minute ride. Check in was friendly even though late. You can pay for breakfast each day which I did. Donna put out this impossible spread of fruits, meats, cheeses, breads etc and then asked if I wanted a more typical breakfast or wanted to try a Trini breakfast. I could have eggs any style, meat and other hot sides. My only suggestion is get a Melita drip coffee maker or something simple because the coffee was instant. The room was clean and very comfortable. I had a larger room which was nice but it is on the street side and light sleepers may struggle. I did at first but then I adapted (no earplugs for me). This is a family run guest house. It seemed everyone working there was related. Everyone provided service as if this was so. They arranged 2 different guide/drivers for me that were excellent and reasonable. I can't mention everyone but I might as well have - that's how good service is - I noted Nakeesha, Kaneka, Aneka, Parish, I hope I got the names right. Everyone was ready to help. I'll be back.

Hi, ScottS. I am SO HAPPY that you were comfortable while you were with us. That said, I'm sorry you didn't mention your preference for brewed coffee, as we do have a 'ground' coffee machine. We used to put it out every day, but soon discovered that most guests actually preferred the 'Instant' option (WOULD YOU BELIEVE????) So now we only put it out upon request. What we should also do, though, (and we will) is put signage to the effect that it is available upon request. Thanks for the heads-up there. Right again, the two rooms on the street side of the property can be an initial challenge for the very light sleeper. While I'm glad you adapted quickly, I will see about upgrading the sound insulation for those rooms in short order. We look forward to the privilege of hosting you again really soon, and I will have your observations addressed by the time you return . . . unless, of course, that's this evening!! Warmest regards. Colin

A wonderful stay, featuring sparkling clean rooms, breakfast (amazing made to order omelettes), a central location, and the most wonderful staff you'd be lucky enough to encounter anywhere. They make sure you are taken care of, feel comfortable getting around, and that you have everything you need to make your stay one to remember. Colin and Diana will see to it with warmth, humor, and expertise.

We will take your word that you were comfortable, and we are all the happier for that. By the way, I made those omelettes MYSELF!! Just so you know. Looking forward to your return to the Inn. Cheers. The location isn't ideal; the place is in a residential neighborhood two miles from the city center and on the far side of the center from the airport. Congestion can make access a headache. On the other hand, the rooms are fine so long as you aren't expecting ooh-la-la pampering: that goes for the A/C, the wifi, the bed, and the bathroom. I found the staff exceptionally accommodating as well as friendly. They went beyond the call of duty. That counts for a lot.

Hi, "Norman". Thanks for the review. Feedback is much appreciated. On that note, would appreciate receiving greater detail with regard to whatever challenges you might have experienced with the AC, wifi, bed, bathroom etc., as guest satisfaction in those areas is usually quite high. I will convey your very kind comments re "staff" to them at our meeting tomorrow evening. Hope to have the privilege of hosting you again sometime real soon. Cheers. Colin

Praises go out to this hidden treasure of a Place. Easy access to everywhere that was best suited for our needs. My sister and I had a last minute trip and could not have desire a more perfect place with the right people and efficient staff, just to mention a few Kaykay, Kevin and the entire staff that was so accommodating. The best part of this experience was to compliment the owner Mr. Collin Lucas easy accessibility to him, very professional yet friendly and accommodating feels just like family. Definitely a keeper and we will return.

Hi Valerie, it was great reading your awesome review. Everyone on the CCI team was quite thrilled to receive your comments. We are also happy to know that both you and your sister made it home safely. While we always do our best to provide excellent service to all our guests, we suspect that part of the warmth you experienced at the Inn might well have been a reflection of your own conviviality, so you may rest assured that we too were exhilarated by your presence in our space. That being said, as the holiday season approaches, we wish you and your loved ones all the best, and we look forward to the privilege of hosting you again sometime in the VERY near future. Warmest regards.

My recent stay at the Inn post-Carnival was truly revitalising, leaving me ready to tackle the many days ahead with renewed energy. Colin, the gracious owner, and his attentive staff ensured a memorable experience before I left to return to the UK. The hospitality extended surpassed all expectations, and the breakfast alone made the stay worth every penny. Highly recommend! The inn was recommended through word of mouth, which should tell you a lot. Don't miss out, when in Trinidad, visit and there is a spa just across the road too!

Nice Room and very Clean.
I liked the Staff, they are very nice and helpfull.
I did not make use of the breakfast because there was a mall just one block away.
So if you are looking for a place to stay that is very quiet and peacefull .. this is the place.
And if you are there for carnival!! you are in the center of all fetes.
Greetings from SURINAME
