Firstly sorry it took so long to update. It was lovely though room was quaint. Staff was friendly and hotel in need of an update. Food was tasty and the pool was out of commission at that time. Still a lovely time spent.

Visited for my anniversary. The environment was quiet, that was the only plus. The room itself wasn't too bad but the hotel is in serious need of upgrades. Some renovations were in the process while we were there. The roof top restaurant was out of service and the pool was closed off; none of which we were informed of when... More

I had been to the Carlton Savannah about 3 years ago for a friend's wedding and it was very. However, I came back this month to this hotel based on good memories, only to find a very neglected place. Furniture worn out in rags, stained carpets, heavy humidity smells and deficient Air Conditioning. The headboard on my bed, which had... More

July 2016 I had occasion to stay at the Carlton Savannah for 2 nights. The property is directly behind the Port of Spain Hilton The Hotel in my view is overpriced when you consider I have now booked the Hilton in October for much less. I paid $145 a nite at the Carlton and I am paying $ 98 a... More

Terribleee experience. I usually have a great experience at the Carlton Savannah, but this time was different! I planned a lovely relaxing day out with my mom. I called days prior and made a reservation for a room with no problem. On arrival however, firstly there was noone at reception. We waited. Someone peeped out from the back and very... More

Pros: Excellent location, peaceful inside, polite staff; good dinner and breakfast; comfortable bedding; sufficient gym equipment; fairly good wifi in room; hotel toiletries (shower gel, cream, etc) was very good - nice fresh smell Cons: no coffee in room; no hand towels in room, no bottle water in room; AC/Heating not working correctly - even after raising the temperature to... Compared to 2012 when I stayed there this hotel really has lost its charm and star status. The carpets on the floors are full of stains. The toilet did not flush properly. Water in the sink stands forever, no hot water to shower. The shower head was fixated in such a cheap way that it wet the whole bathroom without... More

The visit there didn't really interact with the staff Das they didn't seem open for conversation. The room was hot the raid wasn't working properly the roo smelt musty, it wasn't a great experience, even the fire alarm was busted, but, the proximity to the savannah was good but all in all, I wouldn't go back there in a rush.
