We had the whole place the night before competing in Loch Ness Beast race. Pearl was an excellent host and couldn’t have done more for us. The rooms were really nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for a race. We will be back next year!

This Guest house is great for it's value. The location is great if you want to be in close proximity to downtown Kingston which is where we wanted to be during Carnival. The proprietors were friendly and super accommodating as i arrived very early in the AM and I was given access to my room hours before check in. We had room #4 (room with fishes on the wall) and it was clean, neat, there was a mini fridge, the bathroom was pretty and there was WIFI . We only had one hot meal during the stay and it was GREAT...Breakfast which we only had once was complimentary and simple good start for the day. That was the good of this review and now I will explain the areas which could be mind blowing for your value: The room had no chairs or a stool to sit on. In the photo there is desk with an ottoman you can sit on = uumm ahhh update the photo as none of those items are in the room and the workstation was a shell of what might have been! there was a mounted flat screen TV however there wasn't any local TV access at all ( i understand when your on vacation who needs tv however current event is a real thing and with Trump in office ....well enough said! I do however understand the plan is to outfit all of the rooms with smart TV's in the future so that would dope! until then all should bring a tablet and make sure your HULU or Netflix accounts are loaded :). I also felt all rooms should have a tea kettle so you can make instant coffee or tea if needed. It's a charming place and i would totally recommend to anyone

The included breakfast was good. The room was comfortable with most facilities operating although I did have a problem with the shower both in adjusting water temperature and turning off. When I first reported it I was told to push the control harder, it was only on second referral a repair was found necessary. There is a TV but no channels. Netflix and YouTube are fitted but there is no option to search content so your viewing option are limited. This aside the guest house is a comfortable walk from the town centre with a bus ride an option if you are feeling lazy. A walk in the other direction will take you to the botanical gardens. It represents a comfortable economical stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owner and the chef are the best. I spent four nights here and I felt absolutely at home. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was sumptuous. Fairview is within walking distance of the town Kingstown and all the main places in Kingstown. You get much more value than what you paid for. I hope to visit again sometime in the future.

For vacation we could not decide what to do or where to go but knew we wanted to stay within the Caribbean region. After much thought we decided to visit the island of St. Vincent and yes that was a great choice. From the time we landed I noticed the difference in the air. It was fresh, lush green, beautiful and clean. (Mind you I saw all of this in the night....haha). We stayed at Fairview guest house and was welcomed by Marvin who is a very friendly easy going guy. Fairview is conveniently located close to everything shopping and food wise. Massy supermarket just 2 mins down the hill also sells food between 11am to 1 pm. A food van (sorry don't remember the name) just after Massy sells finger food like chicken, fish, burger and chips for $5 to $12 EC. Right next to them is an ice cream truck which sells ice cream made on the island including the cones (lovely btw) for $3.50 or $4.50 EC a scoop. On the same street on the right hand side is a bakery and a restaurant name Caribbean flavors. The Botanical garden is situated just up the hill but we didn't make it as my legs were very sore from my previous hikes. The exchange rate on the street is $2.60 EC to U$D 1.00. For touring around the island Marvin suggested Sailors Wilderness Tours and they were great (will leave a review on their page). Overall we really had a wonderful time on the island enjoying their fresh juices, natural foods and homemade ice creams. If you are looking for a night life St. Vincent is probably not for you as we were told they don't have much of a night life there but if you are a nature person, who likes hiking, agriculture, natural scenery or just enjoy relaxation then yes its perfect. We recommend considering St. Vincent should you desire to vacation in the Caribbean.
