We arrived early and to my surprise our room was ready. We were treated to a rum cake and walked to the door of room 252. The room was spacious and inviting. We got an overview of the honor bar, and how to order room service. We were not shown how to use the safe or the lights but we figured it out. Two of the five nights we stayed there was a bubble bath drawn for us and a kind note. The water was cold by the time I got there, but it was a kind gesture.

We just finished an incredible week long stay at the Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman. Our stay began as a planned anniversary trip but complexities arose at my husband’s company that required him to stay in country. Rather than cancel, we decided to turn the trip into a birthday escape for our children who had been asking for a beach vacation once the pandemic, and a cross-country move, settled enough to allow us to travel internationally. It turned out to be the most amazing gift for us all! The hotel’s location, the facilities, the amenities, and the services were all top-notch. What truly made this Ritz Carlton stand apart from others, however, was the people. The staff made us feel personally welcome at every encounter and ensured we made memories to last a lifetime. Special thanks to Fanny A in Guest Services who assisted with excursions, events and reservations! Thanks as well to Yvonne, Carlene, and Kemesha who made every return to our room feel special. I’d also like to express our gratitude for the little celebrations along the way - our children felt as though every day was another birthday! This hotel holds a special place in our hearts and memories. We are already planning our next trip to Grand Cayman, this time as the entire family.

If you are looking for a top-notch Caribbean experience, this is the place. The resort is simply gorgeous. Seven Mile Beach is one of the premier beaches in the world and at the top in the Caribbean. The white sand never gets hot. The water is crystal clear and warm all year round. The Ritz-Carlton at Seven Mile is the pinnacle of luxury on Seven Mile. The pools alone are worth the price of admission. The Harbor pool may be the only pool on Seven Mile where you can do lap swimming - a must for us. The beach pool features a large 10-ft deep section - and then there is the beach! You really have to see it to believe it. The service matches the beauty. The service at the Ritz-Carlton is always the highest level possible and exceeds expectations. There were several of your team members who went above and beyond the call of duty to give us great service. They include Shem, Bennie, and Geoffrey (just to name a few). But there were two who went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous experience. First was Sharon at the front desk. She helped us navigate a few challenges and then gave us a room perfectly positioned to both pools and the front. She was patient and professional. At the beach pool area, Carla Davis was exceptional in making sure our meals were exactly as ordered and checked-in to see if we need additional assistance. The extra care from those two ladies and all the gentlemen at the front door is exactly what makes this the best place to stay in Grand Cayman. We nornally visit Grand Cayman 4-5 times per year and now this will be our first choice.

The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman is one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at. The property was recently renovated during a the Pandemic so everything looks brand new. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean. I’ve stayed at many luxury properties including the Ritz Carlton in Maui, Cancun, Laguna Nigel and Half Moon Bay and the Grand Cayman property is the nicest Ritz Carlton I’ve ever stayed at. The property is beautiful and well maintained but what makes it stand out is the outstanding service from every single associate that works there. They made sure we were well taken care of prior to our arrival, during our stay and when we left. The attention to detail was not left unnoticed. Their kids pool/ splash pad area is great for younger kids. The only area that I saw a need for improvement on was their kid’s club. It looked dated and in need of a facelift. They had a few activities each day for kids but they were paid activities. Kids could come with their parents when the facility was not in use for group activities. My daughter came 3 times and did arts and crafts with my husband. Most hotels with a kids club allow you to drop off your kids and have free activities planned throughout the day for them to do.

I've been to many hotels, but the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman has my heart. Not only is the property absolutely exquisite and expertly maintained - with newly renovated rooms and facilities - but the staff is far and away the kindest I have ever encountered. They consistently go out of their way to make your stay a fantastic one. Every single person (not an exaggeration!) was more generous than the next, from the servers at the restaurants, to the bartenders, beach and pool staff, and concierge. Glenn F, in particular, stopped at nothing to make our stay absolutely perfect. Thank you to everyone at the Ritz Grand Cayman! We hope to return for years to come!

We were here for 10 nights to celebrate a big anniversary with one of our adult children and enjoy the Caribbean. The Ritz delivered a perfect vacation in every way imaginable. Luis and Jose, front desk managers, even reached out to us prior to arriving to ask for a photo of our family--which they framed and had in our room, among other special treats, on our arrival. The hotel itself is immaculate and housekeeping happens twice daily. (How unusual is that these days?!) Every level of staff, Alieen (concierge), doormen, beach staff, front desk, Jocelyn (housekeeping), beach coffee bar/shop and Hem (spa) were perfection and consistent throughout our vacation. Everyone was so genuine. Hotel food was very good and we really enjoyed starting our days in the beautiful lobby with the coffee service offered. We did rent a car so that we could visit off property snorkeling sites. How nice that they always sent us off with fresh towels and cold water for our adventures!! We look forward to returning as soon as possible!!

High Tea was an awesome experience! Lovely setting and delicious food. The savory and sweet treats were all so pretty and very tasty! The tea and champagne were delightful! Service was great…very attentive wait staff! Scones were tasty, but the coconut treat was the best!

The resort is absolutely gorgeous, the service and food are exceptional and the experience strikes the right balance between stimulating and relaxing. The hotel was recently renovated. The decor is tasteful and appealing, and everything is clean and in good condition. The hotel is well maintained. The service was truly the best service I've encountered at any resort. They appear to be well staffed, but beyond that, the staff makes you feel like they care. They ask about your trip and they offer to go above and beyond. They were very accommodating to guests. It was like they wanted you to enjoy your trip. We had concierge service through Mark, who was very accommodating, appropriately attentive and helped arrange reservations and excursions for us. The food on property was phenomenal. We had excellent meals at Andiamo, Seven (for breakfast), Bar Jack (for lunch), Taikun (for dinner), and Blue by Eric Riepert (dinner). There were also several delicious restaurants that you could walk on the beach to reach, including Luca and Tillies (both breakfast/brunch), with gorgeous views of the sea. We travelled with my nut allergic child and every restaurant on property was able to accommodate her. The resort also offered wonderful beach service. We had no issues getting chairs on the beach each day. There were some beach toys available on a FCFS basis, including stand up paddle boards and kayaks. We also booked a Red Sail Sports private charter to Stingray City, Starfish Bay and snorkeling at Run Point. Our guides were Mike and Kyle, and they really went above and beyond. We kissed stingrays and held starfish, and Mike and Kyle took family pics on a go pro. The excursion was one of the highlights of the trip for us and I would highly recommend the private charter.

We just stayed here for 7 nights with our family (kids age 9, 11, and 13) in an ocean view connecting (1 king and 2 queen rooms) and can’t say enough high praise for this resort! We have traveled to many places as a family and this is, by far, the most relaxing and enjoyable. First, the island is so friendly and safe. The restaurant choices are plentiful (few of our favorites off property: Lucca, Agua, Ragazzi) and we never had a bad meal. We did an excursion to Stingray City and Starfish Bay with stingraycityky.com and it was great - picked you up and dropped you off right at your hotel and everyone had a blast (the 3hr trip was plenty long, fyi). The beach is amazing, and you have a lovely pool that you can go back-and-forth to right on the beach. Our youngest loved the splash park, which is a short walk through the hotel, and there is an additional (very quiet and tranquil) pool over there. Andiamo has great pizza that you can have delivered right to the splash park as well. My husband and I loved the lobby bar before and after dinner. The bartender (I forgot his name and I feel terrible for that) had our ready every time we walked in. The kids would come with us and enjoy a Roy Roger or Shirley Temple. Also, Velasca in the bar was wonderful. She spent 30 minutes talking to us about the history of the island and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing about it. Martin at the pool is the man! He would say hi to our kids everyday by name and make sure they were having a good time. Prasool took fabulous care of us at Bar Jack, along with Anton. The whole property is clean and welcoming. The rooms have recently been redone and they are delightful - love the nautical color schemes. Also, Liseth in Concierge handled all of our reservations and made many wonderful suggestions. As you can see, this place is wonderful - magical is what I call it. We will absolutely be making this a rotation in our family vacations and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for a family vacation - or even couples retreat. Enjoy! There is never a bad day at the RC Grand Cayman! #paradise PS we walked the beach daily and there isn’t a property that comes close to the RC.

My family and I travelled to Cayman Islands for 7 nights and decided to stay at the Ritz based upon personal referrals and great reviews. Prior to arrival, I was emailing with Beatrice, the guest services coordinator, and she is amazing! Top notch service and very thoughtful. When we got to our rooms, there was a nice card and gifts for our kids. The rooms itself are nicely furnished and recently redone. We were upgraded to an ocean front room and the view was fantastic. The walk from the resort tower to the ocean tower is about a few minutes, but you are walking through this "art gallery" so the time goes by so fast. The property has 2 pools and were nice and quiet. We never had a problem getting a chair and again the service the great. Anton was an excellent pool/beach attendant and provided top notch service. The splash park was great for our kids (age 2 and 5) and was perfect for spending an hour or so here. For big kids, this probably wouldn't be that fun, but for little ones it is perfect. The beach here is beautiful and we spent almost the whole day out here. The chairs have their own personal shade versus having umbrellas. Lunch is served from Bar Jack and the food and service was great. Aside from Bar Jack, we ate at Adiamos, Taikun, and Seven, which all were great. Also kids 5 and under eat for free here, which is awesome! No other Ritz that we've been to does this and that is such a great feature. Overall, everyone is so kind and willing to do anything to make your stay perfect. The service level is beyond great and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
