Just Fantastic Fantastic!!!!. I discovered that they were open by chance, a friend suggested it, with great prices for one night, the reception staff very friendly and willing to help, with them you will never find the tedious process ofcheck-I’m in they are fun and make you feel at home ☺️, love the simple design of my room, you have everything you need for a relaxing stay, the food so yummy ... and the cafeteria staff makes sure you are super comfortable ... just love the place, thank you ☺️ keep it up guys, they will definitely succeed!!!!
We enjoyed everything about this hotel until check out when the assistant manager refused to honor the non refundable price quoted to me by Hilton. Pay attention to the currency rate they use for different credit cards! The front desk staff came up with a solution and remained kind to us through it all. The manager never came out to speak with us or offer a solution. I’ve never experienced that in all my years of international travel or stays at Hilton Hotels. Too bad management at this hotel isn’t as good as the staff. (Side note - rooms overlooking the pool are noisy at night due to restaurant. We were able to move our room thanks to the kind overnight staff.)
I admit, I was hesitant to book Hampton Inn because I thought the Kimpton or Bonvoy properties were more luxurious. With that said…So glad I chose this property. Our fabulous 5 day vacation started as soon as I checked in…Fanny and Nimcy at front desk took such great care of us and anticipated our every need. We enjoyed our breakfast because Martin and Diana(servers) were so friendly and made sure I had my omelette every morning. The beach has around 8 beach chairs and 4 umbrellas for Hampton guests and I was able to secure one everyday. Do yourself a favor and eat at Ms Pipers….the food is amazing and the staff is so accommodating. Special shout out to Angie(Bartender). Also, we booked a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite (corner room 201) our room was huge and super clean thanks to Arly (housekeeping). Ask for extra water/coffee and it was delivered ASAP. Keurig machine in room. I can’t wait to come back next year and stay at this property again. Well done Hampton Inn!…
We, initially, were on the East End but after boredom and an ugly beach, we visited West Bay with friends and booked the Hampton Inn. We didn't see Hampton Inn on the map but saw on a whim and wasn't disappointed.
We sincerely enjoyed our time at this hotel. Fanny at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. Isla (house keeping) went above and beyond to help us. The bartenders by the pool (can't remember their names) provided top-notch customer service. In essence, this is the 1st time in many years that I've received high level of customer service. The only drawback was the beach area was a little small due to beach erosion. Other than that, great experience!!!
Excellent & friendly staff from reception, housekeeping, Ms. Piper’s and Gabriel the Go pro expert. Great location, near several restaurants, free parking, shuttle to a Camana Bay, near car & snorkeling equipment rental, and grocery store. Close to Georgetown and many snorkeling areas on the west side of the island. Room was nice & had a nice kitchen area, The staff went above & beyond to help with anything we needed. The food, staff, and drinks at Ms. Piper’s were excellent. Beach is only a minute away. Only negative is lack of a big beachfront area, but that was made clear on their website. With public beach access, it wasn’t a big deal to us. Loved our stay there & would go back in a minute.
Let’s start with the good. The customer service in the front is extremely helpful and efficient, you can call them for anything and they’ll fix the issue within minutes, they also remember your name which is nice. The hotel and rooms are extremely clean. The dining staff are also very nice and helpful especially Martin. Okay, now the rest. We had an issue with the water in our sinks and in the shower being lukewarm. I had to call 3 different times to get it fixed, on the 3rd time I was quite frustrated so they gave us a dining voucher. While the water was fixed it still takes about 5-8 minutes to get hot which is weird. I also do not like that for such a big property there are only 5 beach chairs for the guests, I feel that guest should be informed of this prior to booking. The chairs are also VERY dirty. The Marriott next door has 3 times as much chairs. The beach is literally down to a sliver, there is no sand for you to set a blanket on or anything, the chairs are on a slant as well. In addition the breakfast is not as good as I expected after reading such great reviews. We’ve had breakfast at hotels in Jamaica, Puerto Rico & Mexico and this just cannot compare. There’s no salt or seasoning and the eggs taste frozen as well as the bacon. You can tell when someone warms up a frozen batch as opposed to making it fresh. They also didn’t switch up menu items each day like some hotels do. In addition, the AC in the room can’t really be controlled. You can turn it off and it will still come on in the middle of the night and it BLAST cold air, very alarming with my infant in the room and was told we have to do a power shutoff at the base of the unit to stop it and wouldn’t get any air at all if we did so. If you have an infant this is not the hotel for you. They do not have any freezers in the room and they do not allow you to use the hotels main freezer which is rare because most hotels do. If you have frozen breast milk or a frozen ice pack that you’ll need to carry on the plane to keep your baby’s milk cold, forget about it. You’re on your own and there is no exceptions due to “Hilton policy”. & I am a Hilton Gold member. All mommas know pumped milk has time limits and cannot just be left without a cooler. That is all. I give it a 2/5 but next time I would stay at Marriott just for the beach chairs alone, to start..…
Fabulous bed! Great breakfast, free parking, pool/outdoor restaurant area vibe was top notch, walk to beach, gave us go pro to use. Took exceptional care while we experienced a personal issue. Dian & Jana @ front desk outstanding & Jane in housekeeping, a gem. Walk in as strangers, in minutes....your friends! Lovely staff at this hotel. 2 gals on am breakfast were a treasure too.
Horrible experience. Management feels it is necessary to blast music through speakers at the pool area at full volume from 9am to 11pm making it impossible for our sick child to get any rest during the day. Very inconsiderate. Despite numerous complaints the music was not turned down to accommodate our requests. We will be avoiding this hotel and all other Hilton properties on future trips.
