My husband and I had a very relaxing time at SMBR. Rose was very attentive to making our accommodations comfortable. We chose not to rent a car and instead we used public transportation along with John who took us to the local market during our stay. There is not a beach at this resort. We walked to the Marriott each evening to watch the sunset and have a cocktail.

This is a great condo complex to stay at. The staff are great and always welcoming. Some people are timeshare owners others are renting the unit traditionally. Condos are clean and reasonably equipped. Just next door to the Marriott and Hampton Inn. This place is a value for the location and it’s offerings compared to a hotel that is similarly priced. There are full kitchens with dishwashers. Each unit has a washer and dryer. The unit is a 2 bedroom 2bath. Clean and comfortable.

The individual rooms were pretty nice and would make a good place to base a trip out of if you don't care about the resort side of things. Beds were comfy, lots of rooms, water was warm (could have been hotter but not cold by any means). Location is okay. Its easy to get to things but isn't on the water and doesn't offer any views. The only resort feature you do get is a rooster that wakes you up at every morning at 5am and doesn't shut up. The pool was okay, they pumped loud bad music pretty routinely so that was sort of annoying. Oh be warned, they charge for electricity as a surcharge on your final bill here!

spent 12 nights here, only guests from the uk, which was lovely, the Americans are so friendly1 huge apartment, 2 double rooms both with really big beds, aircon was wonderful, but did sound like a jet taking off every time it kicked in. slept so well. very spacious throughout, top floor overlooking pool, mosquito shield around the balconies is a brilliant idea. .provided all you could need re kitchen equipment and toiletries. pool was fab, most of the time it was just us in there, not many sunbeds so not sure if thats a problem high season? short walk to the amazing beautiful beach, again very few sunbeds, but this time of year def not a problem. location just perfect. had 2 bbqs which was a great addition only negative for us was toilets by pool shut and the kettle took about half an hour to heat - us englilsh do like a cup of tea! cant wait to return!

The previous ratings made me dubious and the drive up to the office did not represent the resort well. In fact, upon sign in, I told the representative I would probably be checking out although the stay had been prepaid through my timeshare. But, after going up to the suite, especially with the employee who hustled luggage for two up to our space, I had a change of heart. The 2-bedroom, 2-bath space was immaculate, and the full kitchen was available as promoted. There was a completely screened in porch which was nice to enjoy at night and in the morning. We also had 3-flat screen TV’s. The suite was spacious and quiet. My timeshare company did not identify the resort as having laundry accomdations, which was incorrect as there was a stacked washer and dryer combination. On Monday morning, the resort arranged a shopping trip to a local restaurant and one night the most fabulous Caribbean dinner was sponsored by a local restaurant named Champion House. The cost was minimal for the offerings and came with rum punch and homemade rum cake.!The onsite personnel made reservations for local tours and there was a cab with a special relationship for the visitors. Everything was fine and I would stay there again!

We came from Montego Bay Riu where we have a beach on site. We visited and we were told it’s very beautiful. It was a nice beach but not worth the travel, was just as enjoyable as our one at the hotel. Make sure if you are to do water sports you do it with a licences company.

We stayed for 4 nights in February. Booked on very short notice. Office staff very nice and helpful. Our 2 bedroom condo was very clean. All new appliances , washer and dryer. Our unit was facing the road but had no issues with noise. The resort is not on the beach. There is a building between the resort and the beach. Beach is very small and setting up your chair can be difficult. We didn’t use the beach however their pool is very inviting well kept and lots of shade. Cost with tax was $300. US. a night. Very reasonable considering it was high season. Highly recommend the resort.

We had a generously sized 2 bedroom ground floor condo overlooking the pool on one side and the parking lot on the other. The bedroom facing the parking lot also was near the dumpsters. About 5 AM, we were rudely awoken by the crashing and clanging of the dumpsters as it was garbage collection time. This was unfortunate for my son, who needed to rise early to meet a scuba dive pickup. And that was after we had already been sleep deprived from our 6 AM flight the previous day. The roosters, cute during daylight hours, scream like they're being strangled on frequent intervals, beginning at 11 PM until the early morning. I'm not sure if they were this noisy because they were near the dumpsters. Our other bedroom faced the pool, and we did not hear the dumpsters or the chickens at all. My son ended up joining us in our room two of the nights when he couldn't take the noise anymore. Luckily we were there over XMAS and Boxing day, when there is no garbage pickup and there was less of an early morning crowing fest. Other than that, the rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms well appointed and clean, the kitchen full of every appliance (microwave, oven, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer) The kitchen had a full wrap around Corian counter space, lots of utensils and plates and cups. It could have used some measuring cups, but I improvised anyways. It also had cleaning supplies, but I had to buy my own laundry detergent. It also would have been nice if it had had spices for cooking. A full sized refrigerator (could not get ice maker to work) was handy in storing our leftovers. We saved a lot on food by shopping at nearby Fosters and cooking our own breakfast and some dinners. The conveniently located pool was spacious and mostly empty. The hot tub was a pleasant way to meet other guests and relax at night. I liked the screened in lanai where we left our clothes to dry overnight under the ceiling fan. The living room couch was also comfortable for hanging out and converts into additional bedding. We had our meals at the glass dining room table. It was easy to stay here. The beach front, however, was sadly eroded away at this location and offered absolutely no place to put a chair. To reach the beach, we had to jump off a high up step onto flea infested seaweed, only to wade through more disgusting seaweed until we reached the neighboring resort. The Marriott next door actually rakes away all the seaweed, leaving beautiful sand to enjoy. It also afford its guest several rows of beach chairs. But it is also much more expensive than this condo, so be prepared to enter the beach from the stairs I mentioned before, or walk around the front of the hotel and enter that way. The 7 Mile Beach Resort and Club offers free passes to a neighboring resort. We never took the time to try it but it is probably worth doing if you intend to spend a lot of time on this beach. We spent most of our week on tours and scuba dives, which pick up in front of this condo. The staff was nice here. Definitely go to the orientation on Monday, where they tell you what to see on the island, while serving the most delicious donuts and juice. This is where we met our tour guide, Gilbert, who you must hire for the best private personalized tour ever!

Loved this property 2 bedroom was spacious clean. Balcony was fuurnished wish is wasnt so hott there would have loved to sit outside more. Everyone working and staying at the resort was so friendly. My family enjoyed are stay pool was huge very warm water Hot tub but it was to hott outside to get in for more than a minute. You can go next store to get gree tour bus to turtle attratiction. Only downside we had rm 18 so they were doing all the cleaning , fixing and painting in front of our room they wasnt loud but eveytime you went out buch of people looking at you. Check in was easy but a little hard to find its a room just like you stay in so soon as you pull in its on 2nd fl. Movie by the pool was fun and loved the aerobics great instructors. Definately would stay here again. Market .restaurants near by walking distance. Rented a car by left side of rode driving scary. Definetly go to snorkel and see stingrays awesome expierience.

We had the most amazing time. We booked the 7 mile beach club getaway through our Carnival cruise. The owners of this space planned this experience out with every last detail. After a short bus ride we arrived at Coral Beach and we were escorted to the beautiful beach. There were plenty of chairs but not too to many. They had music playing and servers waiting to assist us once we got seated. We had Megan as our server and she was absolutely amazing!! This girl will hustle to keep the food and drinks coming. They tag your chair with a #, enter your order on a tablet and within 5 minutes or less the guys bring the food and drinks right to you on the beach! The food was absolutely outstanding! Very elegant presentation and so tasty! We just wanted a snack so we had fried pickles and mac n cheese bites. The couple next to us had the coconut shrimp and said it was the best they ever had. I highly recommend the 7 mile beach club experience to anyone visiting thAt just wants to relax at the beach. The only downside for us is the weather was mostly cloudy most of the time. The sun did finally come out about 30 minutes before we had to go.
