It’s no wonder why this hotel has so many amazing reviews, upon reading many myself before deciding to come, I can honestly say that it this hotel does not disappoint. We had an amazing stay the week of July 4th. The hotel has an elegant yet approachable vibe with different live music and events planned throughout the week. I was prepared to venture out for a great dining experience, but after trying the in house restaurant (Anchor & Den) the food honestly is uh-mazing! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner you will not be bored. Menu rotates often , but there are so many great dishes that you’ll likely keep ordering again. Vista bar at the beach is pretty good too for lunch when you don’t want to miss out on the sunshine. Rooms are decent, well maintained, clean, and have everything you need. We had the courtyard view and really enjoyed hearing the sound of the fountain. The beach (yes) has been eroded, from what we heard it used to be years back. It did’t bother us much though, maybe because we could always find a spot and no one is blocking the view in front. The water is absolutely pristine, warm , and feels like an outdoor pool. This was our first post covid family vacation with our 3yr old, and we barely left the beach. There are ample beach toys as well to borrow and the staff is so friendly in making the little ones feel special. A special shout out to all the amazing staff that made our stay that much more special,, Daniele, Tom, Beth, Conrad, Mary-ann, Ruth, Mae, and all others in between.…
While trying to send my daughter in law a gift i was so confused. I called the hotel and spoke to Delissa she was such a big help and so patient she assisted me not only with the gift but advised me on great options. The customer service was mind blowing
The rooms are great and spacious. The beach is almost non-existent so if this is your main focus then you might want to try another resort. I found it challenging that I went down to the beach every day by 7:30am and could not find a lounge chair overlooking the beach by the pool. The staff is great. The lunch meals have much to be desired. The sushi was wonderful! The Veranda restaurant was good for dinner. I will definitely come back to Grand Cayman but I will not be staying here. It's nice as a home base but I need a bit more beach for my enjoyment. Balcony in each room is quite nice. The courtyard facing rooms can hear the kids playing by the fountains and looking at the turtles in the stream. You definitely know when people are up and moving around in the morning and evening.…
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Staff were very pleasant, food was great, and also close to town and Cayman Bay. They had a kid/family activity about everyday to participate in. Kayaks, canoes, a little sail boat, snorkel gear and go-pros all available to use for free! In the courtyard was a pond that you could feed turtles, which we loved doing. We definitely would come back again!
Every single person we met at the resort was unbelievably friendly, kind, and accommodating. Luis G, the Front of House Manager, is truly the best of the best. He did whatever he could to make our stay in Grand Cayman as wonderful as possible, and we are so grateful!
Beautiful family vacation at this resort! Nealy was the first person to greet us and gave us a warm welcome and answered so many questions. The F&B staff really went above and beyond to make our vacation enjoyable and memorable, especially Daniele and Tom! The front desk staff, Will and the concierge helped us plan some great excursions. The hotel had some fun activities planned poolside in the evenings which was fun for our kids. The food at the hotel restaurant was so delicious and everyone in our family found things they liked, which isn’t easy to do for us ;-) We would definitely return, beautiful location and felt safe with our young kids!
This hotel is just perfect in terms of service, amenities and location. The staff are extremely friendly and professional and they can not do enough to ensure that their guests have a memorable stay. The rooms are fantastic, the food is amazing and the pool is spectacular with breathtaking views overlooking the ocean.
My family (total party of 8 consisting of adults and teenage children occupying 3 rooms) just returned from vacationing while staying at this resort and we all agreed that it was an absolutely amazing stay! The property is gorgeous, well maintained and has the most friendliest and helpful staff we've ever encountered! Our rooms were also well appointed, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the restaurants on the property as well as the hotel's recommendations for offsite dining (many within walking distance) and excursions. The WiFi was fast and best of all free plus the hotel offered free currency exchange from USD to CID which wasn't truly necessary because everywhere we went, USD were accepted. We are all looking forward to going back and staying here again. If I had to provide any room from improvement feedback it would be the water pressure in the shower was a bit low (at least on the 4th floor) and during the bonfire nights, one of our rooms that faced the ocean would get a slight smell of smoke (likely due to the lighter fluid used to start the fire). Other than that the only other item worth noting is the beach directly behind the resort is very narrow due to beach erosion (a problem not caused or exclusive to this property) however we still enjoyed the beach including the ocean trampolines. Special thanks to Evelyn in Housekeeping, Mona from Anchor & Den, Ashley from the Front Desk and everyone else who we had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with. I wish I remembered everyone's name because each and every person who worked at the resort was so kind, helpful and friendly and this is what made our vacation the most memorable.…
What a great visit and stay at the Marriott. Right on Seven Mile Beach and close to wonderful restaurants! The staff was without question the most delightful and happy group I have ever experienced in all my travels! Thanks for making us welcome and our stay memorable!
The Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort was a great place to stay! From the moment we arrived, everyone we came across was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The service was excellent and everyone was so pleasant and happy. The hotel is located right on the beach. The Caribbean Sea is warm, inviting, relatively calm, so peaceful. We enjoyed one meal a day at the hotel and then walked to nearby restaurants. The food was tasty and priced reasonably. Camana Bay has great dining and shopping options and it's a short walk away from the hotel. This was our first visit to Grand Cayman and we had a wonderful experience. Our room was cleaned everyday in a timely manner. The people out by the pool were very helpful with towels, sunscreen, umbrellas, and other equipment. We kayaked, snorkeled, and enjoyed the floating trampoline. This is such a beautiful island and we felt very comfortable at the Marriott. We will be back!!…
