Great hotel located on the bay side of the island. Clean and the staff is very friendly. It is just a short drive from town and seven mile beach. Well worth the drive to have a quite oasis away from the beaches and traffic. Nice pool, great views and clean restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean. We had a bug in our shower, not sure if it was a roach? Overall, the resort is great and the beds are very comfortable. A major disadvantage of the hotel is its distance from activities and other restaurants; however, the restaurant on site is excellent - delicious food! The restaurant charges in Cayman dollars and US dollars - you can pay in either currency. Getting Around: The hotel shuttle needs to be pre-booked the day of travel and stops running at 5:30pm - would recommend renting a car. We only had one problem with the hotel: there were no hangers in the closet. Our stay was great and we would stay there again (with a car rental)!

Very comfortable beds. Empty fridge. Good air con. Large bathroom and shower. Twin handbasins. Isolated location. Poor beach. Good pool. No poolside bar or drinks service. Uncomfortable sunbeds. Average cafe/restaurant. Good service. Pleasant management. High prices.

The resort was very quiet and clean. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is very good. The only downside for me is that the shuttle service was shut down and we had to call for a taxi each time we needed to leave the resort, which was extremely expensive! I was there for my wedding and honeymoon so being stranded wasn't a big deal. If you love to party and hang out, this is not the resort for you. This is a quiet getaway type of resort.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a ground floor room facing the pool, very well kept property. Really nice to sit on the patio after the sun went down. Small water front area had a nice view of the north sound. A lot of different seating areas around the property and by the pool

The resort was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly especially Kim and Dana at the Driftwood. The chef was amazing. The weather was perfect. The beach wasn't great but there was a free shuttle to one of the best beaches in the world less than 5 minutes away!

All of the staff really shine. We arrived late and wanted room service. It was prompt and the food was perfect. Very impressed with the on-site restaurant. The room was spacious and well-appointed. We lacked for nothing. All rooms have a sea view. I almost -- selfishly -- don't want to give a review, because I fear this little out-of-the-way gem will become overrun. The Grand Caymanian is a treasure, and the rates were very reasonable. Beautiful grounds and pool, and they are very well-maintained. If you want only sunsets, this place is not for you. Sunrises at the Grand Caymanian are wonderful. Almost any sea adventure you can imagine is available. This will always be our go-to place on Grand Cayman.

Friendly, courteous staff. Enjoyed live music. Walked to golf course to play twice. Caught fish off the rocks. Shuttle was up and running but used rental car. Small island and easy to navigate either with rental or getting dropped off by shuttle at pre determined locations. This place was a max 10-15 min drive to anywhere on the island. Enjoyed the fact that it was not clumped together with all other hotels and resorts. Even though it was only 2-3 miles away from main drag it felt more relaxing to be isolated on the oceanfront without much else around besides people staying there. Front desk great, especially Renate

Everything was lovely from the reception staff to restaurant staff! The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious! The reception manager's dog Simba was a lovely addition and my son really took to him.. we had to go see him everyday as part of our hotel routine!
