We stayed here before our charter began and the food was great, very unexpected, I had the chicken Alfredo(very big portion) some others had the thin crust pizza all of us enjoyed our stay, rooms are a little small but right next to a lovely dipping deep pool.
Booked two rooms after charter and we were pleasantly surprised! The owner/manager was very helpful answered our questions. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The restaurant had incredible food and friendly staff. Overall a GREAT place to stay and a great deal!
My husband, myself and two other couples stay here before and after our charter. As stated before, the room is basic, but very clean. What makes this hotel great is it’s people. We arrived very late (11:00ish) and someone was there to check us in. The Circle Cafe stayed open so we could get a drink. I will write another post about this local flavour cafe. You have to walk through the cafe to get to our rooms which was fine. During our last night there, one couple hearted a noise outside their room. They went to investigate and found the noise coming from a water drain, called manger who came down and shut the water off, had the plumber in the next morning to fix the problem. The rooms had air, ceiling fan, hot showers and a comfy bed. We woke up to the call of a rooster. Chickens seem to be everywhere on the islands. The owner answered emails promptly. It seems the hotel like many other buildings lost their room during Irma and have our recently reopened. If your looking for a reasonable price, clean and friendly hotel, this is it.…
This 1950s era hotel is surprisingly pleasant. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are immaculate, AC works perfectly, pool and deck are cleaned regularly, and the restaurant on the premises is excellent. It's walking distance to the ferry dock, and almost across the street from Conch Charters. We stayed a couple of nights before and after a weeklong charter, and it was perfect. We'll definitely return.
I've stayed in this hotel four times now. The rooms are basic and clean. The suites at the front of the hotel are larger but noisier from the road. This time I stayed in a basic twin room which was ok, but could really do with having at least one chair in it; not having anywhere to sit is a problem. The attached restaurant serves simple bar snack food, but it's good quality and reasonably priced.
