Don't be fooled: The Mariner Inn is not your Island Getaway, but for us it has been working just fine as a "base" to spend your arrival night in BVI, setting the boat for the next day departure, and having one final sleep in a comfortable, air-conditioned room. That's it. Forget the swimming pool etc... With that in mind, it...

We only spent one night here prior to the start of our sailing charter. We arrived around 9 in the evening and were gone by 11 the next morning. We didn't use the pool so can only comment on the room. Our room was fine. The bathroom was actually quite nice. It had been remodeled recently - very stylish, modern,...

For $250 per night we got a room with only two working lights (40 watt bulbs) so it was dark even in the day time. We had to have the bathroom light on all the time so we could see to navigate. The balconies are shared with other neighboring rooms. First day we arrived I was approached by an alarming...

I loved my luxury room in Tortola for a great price and Close to all. Spa is awesome and food outstanding. People were so friendly and ocean views memorable. Catamaran marina that offers family packages of all prices. One of my favorite hotels so far.

Moorings is the Disney of the sailing crowd. The service is top notch and there to help, or answer any questions you have. Great restaurants and small gift shops. Pool is a great addition for killing time before a flight and the poolside restaurant is awesome. Bell desk will set up taxi to wherever you want to go.

Had a fantastic room overlooking the marina. Spent the night here the night before our charter and couldn't be happier. Service was great with a very elegant room. Made it very easy to get our yacht checkout done first thing in the morning and on our way. They pool and new spa was great and loved the bar overlooking the...

This was more resort casual and great dining experience from a full day of activities. We had an early dinner, so the dining room was not at full capacity yet. Tonight we ordered: Tola Pasta - zucchini, basil and tomato, tossed in garlic butter w/fresh parsley, aldente pasta Pan Seared Grouper served with seasonal vegetables and a black bean and...

Stayed here overnight while waiting for our chartered catamaran to be ready. Had read reviews indicating the rooms were pretty bad, and therefore we requested the "newly remodeled" rooms, but we did not get them. The lobby, and shops are nice and lots of conveniences on the property for those going out on sailing trips (equipment rentals, small provisioning market,...

The location is a bit out of Road Town, but walkable if you have little luggage. There are grocery stores nearby along with a French Cafe and local bakery that has the most amazing bread! Eating at Moorings is expensive, but convenient and good. The walk to town or to the cafe is very doable for meals. The rooms have...

Stress free night before a charter. No taxi needed or hassle with luggage. Pricey but so worth the convenience. Nice big room with awesome shower, but make sure you request a remodeled room. Older rooms are pretty bad. Great bread bakery across the street to stock boat morning before you head out. Also, decent coffee shop on property.
