Very convenient for us with good music and very good food. Simpson Bay Beach is very nice and usually easy to swim. Also great view of superyachts anchored in the bay. Most rooms are right on the beach.

Beautiful boutique beach property with Caribbean bungalow-style rooms/suites. Well maintained, nicely decorated and very friendly staff. Even if you're not staying here, drop by to enjoy delicious drinks on the beach. Separate beach areas for hotel guests and bar guests, lounge chairs for all! Sure it's right next to the airport runway, but it's part of the fun, planes are...

I found the staff to be excellent, in the hotel, and quick to respond. I stayed in the room with the Kingsized bed and found it comfortable, lovely little kitchenette, and clean. Loved it! Small table and chair outside the room to sit at, if desired. The shower was more of a good dribble than a spray although sufficient. Soap...

We spent the day here after a cruise while waiting for a late flight. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of. We were provided with shade and chairs and full use (other than the pool) of the facilities. This was all for free!! The staff was incredibly friendly. We had lunch at the restaurant....

Hotel lobby and staff were nice. Unfortunately our room was in the basement with no view nor water pressure. The room was like a dungeon which is the last thing you want as your first impression of the Caribbean. Had dinner at hotel that evening which was sub par. Started with duck appetizer and after that decided not to order...

Dated for certain with a very strange layout- as if the complex perhaps used to be condos that they've chopped up into hotel rooms? Within our suite were two different doors leading to other suites. The airplane noise was worse than anticipated despite some reviewers saying it wasn't that bad. When you're four time zones behind, the 7am flights come...

The restaurant at Mary's Boon has a most excellent ambiance while overlooking the ocean. The food is above average and the service is very good. A very pleasant spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Some evenings they provide excellent music.

This is an older, smaller resort hotel as would probably have been typical on St. Maarten about 20-30 years ago. It's been nicely maintained, though, and the island style gives it a charm that most of the modern mega-hotels on St. Maarten lack. Its rooms are big and traditionally furnished; we got one with an oceanfront view and it really...

This is a fun, funky Caribbean place. so nice to not be in a typical resort high rise. Got stranded with flight cancellations due to blizzard and the staff was SO VERY kind and accommodating to enable us to stay the extra night.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Mary's Boon Beach Resort and had the best vacation ever! Our room was on the second floor of the main building with a full ocean view of Simpson Bay. When we arrived we turned off the air conditioning and spent the week with the window open listening to the sound of...
