we spent 5 nights here last week with the all inclusive package. We started with a problem of not having a beach front room which we paid for, after arguing with front desk they found one, which needed repairs ,light in bathroom out, towel rack falls off wall, one closet door, no hair dryer (they did bring dryer 2nd day)but we had asked 3 days in a row to get light fixed but they never did, so we gave up, The location is very convenient, most of the staff are very friendly & helpful, the best has to be alexander, we did a tour with him around the island & it was very interesting & fun, strongly suggest this to everyone. Our room was average, beach front (nice), housekeeping ( needs attention) on Saturday our room was not touched at all, when I visited the front desk at about 6 pm to ask why I was told there was nothing they can do about it now, I wanted to speak with the manager & was told they will contact me, (which no one has as of yet). As for the restaurants, seaside did not serve breakfast one morning while we were there, your only choice was pure ocean, & that's nothing special. The lunch there was good , as for gizmos you have same menu for lunch & dinner, As for pure ocean food was good, no specials, service was under par,( you may wait 20- 30 min for a drink) its new & modern but the management needs get more help in there, & organize them. the main pool was not open yet, so if you didn't get to either of the small ones early enough in the morning you were out of luck, as there isn't nearly enough space for the amount of guests. the on site convenience store is very well stocked. the bar service was good. ( no swim up), but you do have beach service. Also with the all inclusive no top shelf liquor (Bacardi was extra I was told) I'm not sure I would go back, for sure would not do all inclusive again, it just doesn't have that type of service. We love the island & will visit St. martin again but probably different resort,
We stopped here for a great beach day during our cruise. The beach is amazing. Would truly consider spending a week at this great resort. We had great service. The beach was clean. Seen tons of fish when I was snorkeling near the pier.
This was our first stay at Divi... it will not be our last! We even invested in a time share! The location is so beautiful... bay with amazing light blue water on one side and the Caribbean ocean on the other! Clean sandy beaches very well maintained. Rooms, ours was 401 a studio plus, it was clean and updated. Best views of both sides of the peninsula from our front and back door. 50 steps from the beach! Restaurants were all wonderful. Prices very very good! Entertainment was fun!o
Staff... amazing! Especially the two women in the Cafe! They knew what we wanted as soon as we walked in the door! Alexander was another wonderful staffer he drove us around then we hired him for an island tour. AMAZING! He took us to off the beaten path places, told us of the islands history, and literally saved my life! I tripped climbing a small walkway along the water to David’s Hole... he came out of nowhere and caught me! I thought I was a goner! If I had fallen I would have been pretty banged up! He was amazing, strong, and very very attentive! He was by my side very minute after that! There were 4 women and Alexander! He took care of all of us! Ask for him and take advantage of his island knowledge!
Arrived after a cruise 930am, Waited all day to get a room....got it at 6:15 pm then a wedding right outside our room started... complete with huge subwoofers that rattled the dishes until 1140pm. And they blocked off the pool at 430PM.... Needless to say we went and sat in the lobby most of the day as the room was too loud. Could not get another room and the staff was sympathetic but helpless to fix it. Next day they offered $100 meal credit, but required us to eat at their restaurant even though we were leaving soon.
Arrived before the cruise and they had lost our reservation.....ok they rebooked one there and fixed it. Each morning there’s about 20 locals out front of our porch ....avoid the bottom floors so at least you can open the curtains in the morning.
So, either be really flexible and plan a backup hotel for your stay here.... or just don’t book it.
This was our first visit at Little Divi Bay and we loved it! Staff was wonderful, snorkeling on left of the bay was the best of all beaches we visited including Pinel Island! We enjoyed being entertained by Gizmo, their resident Parrot! Also enjoyed the live music at Gizmo beach bar in the evenings!
Amazing sunsets from infinity pool and our balcony. Enjoyed the walk to Fort Amsterdam with Linnette! I definitely recommend a car rental for at least a few days to check some of the other 37 beaches! We loved Friars Bay and took boat ride over to Pinel Island for a very relaxing day!

Wasn't much organized for kids when we were there. There is Aqua Mania on site which offers different things for rental (paddle boards and whatnot). The beach is big, but there are swimming areas roped off so you're not worried about boats and jet skis. I wouldn't let them go completely unsupervised, but you could pretty easily hang out on a beach chair while they play in the sand and water.
