Rising majestically above its 49 room sister resort Anse Chastanet, a 600 acre beach front property, Jade Mountain is a cornucopia of organic architecture celebrating St Lucia’s stunning scenic beauty. The 29 luxury suites are called sanctuaries, sweeping spaces where bedroom, living area and an extravagant private infinity pool glide into one another to form extraordinary platforms floating out into nature. With the fourth wall entirely absent, Jade Mountain’s sanctuaries are stage-like settings from which to embrace the full glory of St Lucia’s Pitons World Heritage Site and the Caribbean Sea. Jade Mountain has set a new standard in the Caribbean whether it is for modern design, luxury living or unique resort and guest service experiences.Wrapped around an infinity pool with a dazzling kaleidoscope of colors, the Jade Mountain Club restaurant caters exclusively to resident guests, celebrating James Beard Award winner Chef Allen Susser’s “Jade Cuisine.” Hovering in space above the Jade Mountain Club is the Celestial Terrace, perfect for sunset cocktails or star-gazing.A wide range of spa services can be enjoyed in the privacy of the Jade Mountain sanctuaries or at Kai en Ciel, Jade Mountain’s boutique spa and fitness studio. The resort major domos and a dedicated resort team ensure outstanding service around the clock.Guests may enjoy the exclusivity and privacy of Jade Mountain plus access to all of Anse Chastanet’s facilities and services: Nestled amidst a lush tropical 600 acre tropical estate with two soft sand beaches bordering pristine coral reefs, Anse Chastanet is right in the heart of the island’s marine reserves with St. Lucia’s legendary twin peaks, the Pitons, as the dramatic backdrop. The active will enjoy the resort’s amazing range of adventure facilities. Facilities include 4 restaurants & 3 bars, professional spa, PADi 5* scuba centre, water sports with kayaking centre, 12 miles of private biking and hiking trails with mountain bike rental, sailing yacht, 3 boutiques, library and art gallery.

We were most fortunate leaving the cold of UK winter and escaping to this tropical paradise for New Year just before total lockdown!! With all the concerns of traveling during a pandemic, should we still go? Would we get value for money? Would we feel we should wait and get the full package another year? Whilst I'm not going to keep mentioning COVID the way St Lucia and the hotel managed the whole scenario was nothing short of super in every way, all carefully thought through, with lots of sanitation / temperature checks daily. Even. paper menus used just once. Obviously masks were worn by all staff and guests except during meal times. Therefore full enjoyment and no worries. We have previously stayed at Anse Chastnet on two occasions so know the layout of Jade Mountain. Traveling from the airport has been well documented as a little bumpy too say the least! But in fairness it's only the last few miles that are a little stomach churning and just think you're nearly there!! Or take the helicopter. We had we think an amazing room JC3 / Moon Sanctuary which is situated about in the middle of Jade Mountain. With commanding views of the iconic Piton's and the sea you could spend all day looking at the view from your infinite pool !! On walking over your bridge to the very large hardwood door where your experience commences. My wife had one other concern! We are visiting a pretty high end hotel with no A/C? Well no worries here as on night two she asked for a blanket as instead of being hot she was a little cold!!!! So don't worry having the forth wall missing is amazing. Unfortunately on this review I can say nothing about room service but that's because we preferred going and eating at Jade Club for all our meals. I would be confident that if room service is your thing you wouldn't be disappointed. At Jade Club restaurant the food is of a very good standard, all being local from their farm or from the island. We did our best eating a healthy breakfast with embarrassingly three courses for lunch and full evening dinner. All meals were excellent particularly the daily catch of Tuna or Kingfish Snapper too name a few. If you like walking this is a hotel for you! If you don't like walking or just flat paths with elevators then you might think again. We are non gym people but active and took the walk down the hill to the beaches every day . Probably around 20 minutes to Anse Mamin beach and the walk back will definitely get your heart rate up!! So, all in all COVID or not it's a fabulously romantic hotel or somewhere for total relaxation which we highly recommend and hope we can return some day in the not too distant future despite the big bucks!! Just go.

Went for nine nights in October/November. Very high compliance with Covid protocols, which were not intrusive. Hand sanitizing stations everywhere, 100% mask compliance with staff and guests (and at airport and in cars), and staff cleaning everywhere. Good social distancing. Hard to tell how occupied Jade was, but our impression was that it was significantly lower than a year ago. Resort has used some downtime to do some sprucing up (not that we thought it needed it). The floors and furniture in our sanctuary had been refinished since last year, USB charging ports and 110V receptacles had been added to the desk, all the seating cushions had been replaced. Not dramatic, but nice to see and noticeable if you'd been there before. Major domos now working in teams of six instead of three, apparently to help equitably distribute work hours in a time when fewer major domos are needed due to lower occupancy. All of our major domos were great. We asked the office to add our gratuities to the major domos to our bill and distribute ratably on our behalf, as with six of them it would have been easy to inadvertently omit someone. Office was glad to handle this. We took a car from the airport this year instead of the helicopter. We were glad we did... got to see some of the island. The infamous last two miles of the road up to the resort were not a big deal. We think Jade Mountain is a spectacular experience, and the Covid protocols did not materially diminish that experience in our view.

I spent 5 days here and it was the nicest 5 days I’ve ever experienced at a resort. Everyone was friendly, prompt, and the food at Jade Mountain was fabulous. They wrote me notes daily letting me know if there was anything I needed they would get it for me. They made me a bubble bath because they knew I took my hike one day. They restock the rooms throughout the day constantly cleaning. Everyone is so prompt, and the food at Jade mountain is AMAZING. I ate here almost everyday and didn’t have 1 bad thing. Not to mention the view looks like a postcard. It’s absolute paradise. Exceptional service, view, and staff.

The Jade Mountain experience is something unique and definitely worth adding to your 'bucket list,' for the views alone. Nestled into the side of a mountain directly across the bay from the two pitons, this resort is like nothing you've seen before. We stayed in a 'moon' suite, which has an enormous rectangular infinity open-air pool overlooking the pitons. It's surreal when you walk into your room for the first time and see this gorgeous view. No expense has been spared to provide you with the most incredible getaway; the butlers are attentive and at your service, no request seems too impossible, and the quality of the food and service is impeccable. There are a few places to eat on site but make sure you book the rooftop restaurant for your first night, as it's the best and you may want to eat there for the duration of your stay (it's also where breakfast is served, and the views in the morning are stunning). Make sure to order the 'volcanic egg' signature dish for breakfast; it's a slow-poached egg laced with truffle oil and crispy prosciutto and it's one of the most sublime things I've ever tasted. The beach at Jade Mountain is fine, but be aware that the sand is a mixture of volcanic black/beige grains and is not as photogenic as the nearby Sugar Beach (where the white sand is rumored to have been shipped in from somewhere else, anyway). That said, it's the rooms at Jade Mountain that command your attention and you'll want to stay there rather than go exploring!

Jade Mountain is one of the most unique resorts I have ever stayed at. I could not recommend it more. The views, ambiance, and most of all the service! Jerome, Lawrenceson, Dwight, Peterson at the Jade Mountain Club treated us with 5+++ star service. As did the Gerwin and Tennerson who took us sailing and Jovan who took us jungle biking. Also Wincia who took time to give my husband and I a tour of the resort. We cannot wait to be back!
