The staff was wonderful, very accommodating. the property was beautiful as well. My only gripe was the fitness center was a bit far for use. Also, I think the fresh juices/smoothies at breakfast should be available beachside. Otherwise we had an incredible vacation! the staff made it memorable and easy.

Such a beautiful place filled with the beautiful people of St. Lucia. We felt the warmth starting with our wonderful butlers to the staff that served us on the beach. In fact we felt it from every person we came across that works at Sugar Beach. Beach bungalow #20 has possibly the best view on the beach and it felt like a dream every morning, waking to see the amazing view. Did I mention how amazing our butlers were? I almost cried when we left them 😢We have already booked for next year! Thank you Sugar Beach! We ❤️you. Mr. and Mrs. Rainey

We stayed at Sugar Beach for a week in December. A fantastic stay in a wonderful resort. In no particular order: beautiful scenery, great beach, secluded location, breath-taking views, gorgeous sunsets, friendly service, well maintained grounds, great room with a plunge pool and a view of the Petit Piton and the sea, fantastic snorkelling spot right next to the beach, good food and choice of wine (with totally different menus between the various restaurants, which is nice - offers a lot of variety), strong adherence to Covid protocols (which was comforting) ... I would definitely recommend Sugar Beach! A few things to improve maybe: service at tables can be a tad slow sometimes, waiting times for a shuttle at peak times can be very long, food fairly expensive (think NYC or London prices) and room service food a bit disappointing (we had to order food for our first dinner upon arrival as the restaurants were all booked until 9/9.30pm). Also maybe two suggestions for the hotel management: 1) use golf buggies instead of cars as shuttles (or in parallel) as these would be electric, narrower and open (this last point being mostly relevant in these times of Covid), 2) build a proper path to walk up to the villas (hence avoiding to walk on the roads along with the shuttles, which can be a bit dangerous, especially at nights).

My husband and I stayed at Sugar Beach for part of our honeymoon in St. Lucia. This resort is sprawled out and feels more like a home than a hotel which is unique and feels more private and personal. We stayed in the villa with a large deck and private pool (room 313) and we can’t say enough good things about our room. We had a wonderful view, and the butter service was so attentive. Below are some Pros & Cons: Pros: - Hotel Room- our villa was nice and quiet, very clean and our bathroom was luxurious! -Property- our villa was uphill on the street which we sometimes walked to from the beach to get in a brisk walk. They also provide shuttles to the beach and other areas of the property. -Service- our service was wonderful and everyone was very friendly. -Beach- was clean and first come first serve for beach umbrellas (there was always enough for everyone). Food- conveniently available at the beach during lunch and two other restaurants for dinner on property and breakfast has ample options. Pool- very large and clean. Overall the property is very clean and well maintained. -COVID-19- we felt very safe at Sugar Beach as they took precautions and had staff masked at all times and also made sure all guests had a daily temperature check. Cons: -Although the food was indeed delicious, I do feel like it was overpriced for what you get compared to some other resorts on the island. We had a lovely time at Sugar Beach and hope to visit again one day!
