Starfish resort was a great vacation with my kids. Perfect location for what I was looking for....beachfront and nightlife a walk away on Rodney bay. Lots of restaurants and bars as well as live music on that stretch. The staff at Starfish were great...really good service.

This review is based on my personal experiences only. On arrival at the hotel following an interesting ride from the airport we were greeted warmly by the reception staff and offered a welcome drink. Whilst completing the formalities we were asked for a $100 deposit that we

Just like lots of you I rely heavily on Trip Advisor reviews to help make holiday plans and I can't understand how this resort is coming up as a 4 star. The resort is past being dated. I assume the plan is to tear it down as they did with the sister resort next door and

Pros: BEST beach ever! Staff super nice! Food quite decent! Sizzling beef shout out to Colleen! Cons: Blasting loud music at night from clubs around hotel! My room was vibrating! Bathroom smells like sewer.

The resort is about 1.5 hours from the airport. Older hotel but well maintained. We had the Seaview Room. We could hear the waves crashing at night which I found soothing. Water supply and water pressure in the bathroom is weak especially in the evening hours. There are

How far is this resort from airport
About 90 min drive. Twisting, winding, bumpy ride through the whole island. If prone to car sickness-take Gravol! Nice opportunity to see small towns, banana plantations and rain forest.

We stayed in a room that was next to the outside wall of the hotel(I want to say 127 or something - don't remember at all?). It was great for no noise -away from everything. The only thing was that we were on the ground floor (that we requested due to medical reasons) and the bathroom was quite moldy and did not smell very good. Otherwise the room was great - little patio, great beds and decent sized room. When we came out of our room, there was a wall to the street with barb wire. We felt very safe as there was also a security guard on duty some days as well.

Hi. What are the plugs at the hotel? Travelling from Canada.
You'll need an adapter which you can get at the front desk.

90 minutes is about right depending on the driver and traffic.... yes there is traffic in Castries that may be a little bit of a holdup... but the ride is beautiful and interesting from the plane to the rain forest to the ocean beach and the road side drop offs.... here are some tips. PLAN TO HAVE WATER with you when you get off the plane- there are no drinking fountains readily available so ask the attendant on the plane to fill your container or have an extra bottle with you - you can drink the water on the Island - but if you are sensitive you might be better off having water with you..... be aware if you are affected by motion - it is a winding road that has many ups and curves- a salty snack and Gravol will do the trick..... Go to the washroom once through security to avoid asking the driver to find a stop, there are not many along the way and you will need some change to pay for a public toilet if he does find one. it is a courtesy to pay for the use. Vans are usually well airconditioned, drivers are usually more than happy to chat and give answers to questions, Yes we always tipped the driver, even though it was not expected. No they do not have change on them to exchange your currency. Yes they usually stop for at least one great welcome photo at Denery - the view is spectacular for a first look.... No we do not advise you ask to pickup beer on the way..... the curves will not be so much fun after the first few....
