I do not have a single negative comment to make about this lovely small hotel. It is family run, only 30 rooms, we had the mid size room and that was great, over looking the pool which is situated in a lovely garden. The staff were lovely, particularly the bar staff, front desk and the room cleaner. It is very well situated for a 5 minute walk into town or, turn the other way and it gets you to reduit bay and 3 good restaurants en route. We were there just as the Corona virus pandemic was building and due to State department advise, we left for home one week early, the hotel has without objection agreed to refund our the week we moved out - customer care at its best. If we ever make it back to St Lucia, this is the only hotel we will use.
Stayed here for 8 nights as part of a diving trip, the week before Covid-19 was likely to shut it down, along with pretty much everything else. Staff coped with the situation beautifully. Grounds are lovely, with lots of nice seating and lounging areas. Birds were frequent visitors to our second floor balcony, and the view and breeze were so relaxing. This is an all suites property, and, while we didn't use the kitchen much, it was fully equipped, and the living and dining area made for lots of room for our dive gear. We only had lunch the first day, breakfast, and after dinner drinks in the Cockpit restaurant so can't say much about the food, but what we had was good. And breakfasts were more than ample! The Cockpit fronts on the street, but has a nice garden screening it. Plenty of places to eat a short walk away, as is the beach. I used the pool a couple of times and enjoyed it very much although I should note the hotel was hardly full when we were there. We ended up with separate double bed rooms on the second floor because our initial ground floor room had a broken toilet. A couple of cautions: Some people might find the ground floor rooms and balconies to lack privacy (my travel companion definitely in that category), and the first room was going to require we push the two twins apart. Frankly, I thought that was pretty clear on the web site, but my friend didn't. In sum, if you're concerned about these things, ask and be specific when booking. And we hauled our bags upstairs and down. There probably was someone to help us if we'd asked, but we could handle it. Good exercise! All in all, a really nice experience in trying times. I am seriously considering going back someday with my significant other and his knee problems, who would love the ground floor rooms and the fact everything is on one level.…
We spent an interesting 10 days at this hotel recently ... the staff are very pleasant and and, for the most part, do a great job. The hotel is very dated and is in much need of renovation, especially the bathrooms which are very dated and falling to pieces (the water pressure for showers and toilet are annoyingly low). It is a budget hotel, however I think it’s the location that’s the selling feature ... beware of the waterfront rooms if you don’t like noise, the bars across the lagoon are very noisy until the wee hours of the night, every night, which is a shame for anyone trying to get to sleep (ear plugs a must)... the security is practically non existent as the hotel complex shares space with a car rental company, a dive shop, a waterfront restaurant, yoga studio and internet place ... very strange as surrounding complexes have electric gates and barred windows and security is tight in the marina area but no security guard at this hotel ... overall the gardens are beautiful with lots of bird life and the small pool has been recently updated .. the beach is a 5 minute walk away, however it’s near impossible to find a place to chill as it’s full of persistent vendors and cruise ship people sunbathing on loungers along the waters edge, as many as 600 a day ...…
Stayed here for five nights and we were upgraded to a fantastic stic room with views of the bay. Spacious and comfortable though noise from nearby night spots meant I slept with earplugs. Staff were extremely helpful and kind and sorted everything we asked for very quickly. Excellent value for money and I would definitely come back
First of all Charan at reception was truly amazing, helpful and kind. She is definitely an asset to Harmony Suites. The Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & Hotel itself was fantastic, food was great, so were the drinks.. the staff from the check in to the bartender and waitstaff, were way above expectations.. the rooms were great, way more than you would expect for the price.. beach decorated and well appointed with fridge, microwave, dishes, utensils, kettle etc. 😁definitely will use again
