Dear Guest, We're sorry that your experience was so complicated. We looked on your booking site and it is not stipulated anywhere that the accommodation will be done upstairs. The photo on the site is certainly that of a mini suite upstairs but the one on the ground floor also offers a sea view. We really like it here, nice pavillon, nice beach, varied buffet ( creole style), friendly staff, v. Nice beach with not too many waves. Downside: we are in ,only adults, area (paid for it more) and there are babies. ...they do not control...

I dont know as I speak only french with the staff, but a german couple told me that they speak french or english but not german. You may call the hotel for a check.
