We chose this hotel because it was a ten minute walk from the ferry port and we had a very early ferry to Guadaloupe the next morning. It looks like a backpackers hotel althought this is certainly not reflected in the €70+ that we paid for the room. There was no lift and the receptionist offered to stow our cases...

We loved our stay earlier this year, and when visiting martinique again this July, we wanted to return to Carib Hotel. Once again - no disappointment, Keep in mind it is a budget hotel in old town, not a modern Hilton - and all folds in place there. Rooms are extremely clean, location is fantastic if you travel by ferry...

I slept at this hotel for 1 night, on our way to Saint-Lucie. We found it useful because it was within walking distance from the ferry terminal. It is not situated in very touristic area of Fort-de-France, and I definitely would not recommend it for longer stays. The service was decent, the rooms were clean. There were a lot of...

To start with, we need to say it is a 2-star hotel, so no fancy options should be expected. It is located in an old traditional house adopted to be hotel, so each room is a bit different in size, shape, and feel. Consider it part of it's charm. We hoped to find an inexpensive place close to the inter-island...

We spent one night here last week at this officially rated 2-star hotel. Prices are posted and our room for two cost $65 Euros. The room had a desk/and chair, a double bed, a refrigerator, and a door that opened to a balcony over the street. The door was the only "window" in the room. We only wanted the room...

After writing many complimentary reviews on Trip Advisor recommended hotels I can only say that this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and anyone who comes here would be well advised to leave at the front door. Why, well I paid €65 for a night, no breakfast, A/c did not work, I know said reception, there was...

We used this small hotel in Fort de France to bridge the gap between planes and ferries. We liked the central location and the no-nonsense atmosphere. The rooms are old but functional and clean. There is hot water, a fridge, wifi and A/C. The people at the reception were very friendly and the price is just right. I would stay...

My wife and I stayed at the Carib Hotel for 4 nights during an island hopping trip. We chose the hotel because it was central and within easy walking distance of the terminal where Express des Isles ferries dock. We booked direct with the hotel via email. This was straight-forward and the receptionist/manager Patrick had been extremely helpful and responded...
