We enjoyed our stay at Ababor last week and can't wait to return to this beautiful island! If you're planning on staying here, make sure you run to the store before your stay for extra toiletries, snacks and bug spray (the bugs aren't as bad as some make it out to be on here though). Also, make sure to pack...

We were so happy with Wanda and her staff, the location, the few steps across the yard to the water, the wonderful waves beyond the breakwater and the peace of just enjoying all the blue, and the sun ! We had a rental jeep and were able to really cover the island and explore the incredible beaches and very few...

I don't know what other reviewers expected when they stayed here above what was promised them. I find that the owner delivered exactly as promised: a clean, unfussy, comfortable, fully equipped suite on the beach with use of a gazebo with barbecue grill/kitchenette plus kayaks. The property is steps away from a secluded beach that is protected by a natural...

Our group of 5 rented two separate suites and we all had mixed feelings about the stay. The suites were kind of clean. There was spare change on the floor and other items laying around from the previous guests. Did anyone sweep before we got there? Small ants in the kitchen and bathroom upon arrival. However the buildings were bright,...

Stayed here for two nights. The owner left keys for us as promised so we could "check in" we didn't see her or any other care taker on the property the entire visit-which in a way was nice. It was very private. Thankfully we didn't have any troubles that needed attention. The space of Sun Bay suite was a good...

What can I say, we went back again, we enjoy the laid back local experience. The rooms are nice, they supply minimal linens and paper goods, you have wi-fi, direct TV. No food, are basically relocating your reseidence here, so you cook clean and bootle wash during your stay.

Vieques is usually known for the ultra luxury "W", actually walled off from the rest of this delightful, safe and special island just east of San Juan, Puerto Rico. We've traveled to the real Vieques seven years in a row now, and always stayed at Ababor Suites because it is in a neighborhood without signs of tourism, and the location...

Let me start with a statement that most previous reviews were accurate. This is somewhat remote location, located right on the beach, and with it come pros and cons. Pros: The location-beautiful setting, you wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the waves, can have your morning coffee right on the beach. Perfect place to get from...

We had a wonderful family vacations. Accommodations had what we needed. Vieques beaches are breathtaking. You need a car/ jeep to explore the island and all the beaches. We did not meet owner but when we needed extra sheets. The owners son responded promptly. Went for a jog had a run in with the local dogs. Would return !but not...

We stayed here in November and spent time in the villa. Though the location was good, we did not feel the place warranted the amount of rent being asked for it. For starters, there were tons of mosquitoes INSIDE the villa, indicating to us that the apartments had not been pest controlled properly prior to arrival. As a result, tons...
