We found the Esperanza Inn through a Vieques website. The owners, Lisa and J could not have been any nicer. They were so accommodating with information about the island, where the best beaches are, where to eat , getting taxis, etc. The Inn is a block off the end of the Malecon so it is fairly quiet. An easy walk around...

Just a block from the ocean but away from the bustle of the malecon...Lisa and J are great and they've already thought of the bazillion little things that made our stay more comfortable. Spotlessly clean but very relaxed vibe - we had a great time...

Everything was wonderful at the Esperanza Inn. We stayed in the casita, which truly felt like a private little paradise, it was hard to leave in the mornings to go do fun stuff. Lisa and J seemed so genuinely caring and as wonderfully tempered as the cats that share their space. A full kitchen, comfortable couches, many seating options around...

I'd like to give The Esperanza Inn a low ranking, but I'd be selfish, trying to keep the place all to myself. That would not be fair to the wonderful folks there. Lisa and J are delightful people. Very helpful and informative. Lisa spent at least 20 minutes with us, asking us what kinds of things we wanted to do...

We loved staying at the Esperanza Inn. J and Lisa Ferguson, the owners, could not be more helpful. The one-bedroom apartment was excellent and allowed for cooking, saving us some money. You have to keep your own room/apt clean, since they don't have a staff, but that doesn't bother us, quite on the contrary. Vieques itself is paradise (or would...

This place is fantastic! We had a huge group of 19 people and we were all extremely satisfied with the rooms and how comfortable we were. We made use of the entire facility and found the rooftop and the lounge/kitchen area were perfect for all gathering together at the end of the day. J was an exceptional host, very knowledgeable...

I was worried about stay in Esperanza, because I have the worse experience 15 years ago in other hotel in Vieques, but Lisa (the owner) changed my whole perspective for good. Our room was spotless, clean, beautiful; our bathroom was big and very well decorated. The inn have a pool, a nice garden to relax and play, big area for...

I can't say enough about Esperanza Inn. I would go back to Vieques just to stay there! We traveled with a group of friends and families and rented a large portion of the inn - it was perfect! The apartments all had their own kitchens, but downstairs is a kitchen/lounge area that was perfect for all 18 of us to...
