Casa de Tortuga is very conveniently located to the Malecon and the accomodations were very nice. I stayed in a casita while on my visit to Vieques. The room was very clean and comfortable and it was nice to have the kitchenette. Plenty of room to unpack and store clothes and comfortable beds. John the manager was there every day...

I took a mini-vacation of four days and stayed at Casa de Tortuga in Esperanza, Vieques. The place is a refurbished house with plenty of rooms and a nice swimming pool in the back. The location of the place is excellent as it is close to some of the best beaches in Vieques; Playa Grande and Black Beach are minutes...

My girlfriend and I ended up choosing Casa de Tortuga because we booked somewhat last minute for the holiday season (~1 month away) and they had a room. The website is great because it allows you to book online and is super simple/easy (it shows availability which was useful for us). It can also be slightly difficult to find on...

This place was great! Relaxing pool atmosphere & the owners were super helpful & friendly. Room was spacious & clean, & the bed was comfy. We got to eat delicious mangos that fell from the tree. The only downside was the animal noises from the people next door. They have chickens & dogs, so the roosters crowing & dogs barking...

It's a block away from the main strip of restaurants and bars. The room was beautiful, it had AC, a microwave, a mini-fridge, utensils, wine glasses and cork screw (no kitchen). I loved the small pool (open from 7am-10pm). It's right next to a mini supermarket so you can stock up on food, etc. There's an outdoor seating area near the...

I almost don't want to write a review, because I want to keep this spot a secret. It is that good! John was a kind and attentive host during our three night stay at Casa de Tortuga. First of all, the rooms and pool are spotless and very well cared for. Our room had a sink, minifridge, and some dishes/utensils...

We had a wonderful time at Casa de Tortuga. We wanted something clean and comfy but affordable, and it more than fit the bill. The mattress and bedding were luxurious and there was a miniature kitchen area with microwave, sink, plates & basic utensils & a modern bistro table with 4 chairs. They even provided wine classes and bottle openers!...

You are only a two minute walk to the water front but it is worth is as the bars stay open late on the Malacon (water front street). There are night sounds here, little frogs that sound like bird and Chickens from the neighboring property but with the Air Conditioner on they didn't bother me. The staff went out of...

Great little guesthouse! It is within walking distance to the Malecon, but much more quiet than the places right on the Malecon (if you don't count the noise from roosters!) I loved all of the fruit trees on the property, and the cute dogs and cats roaming around. The pool was clean and refreshing and the room had everything we...

Stayed for a few days and enjoyed EVERY day!!! Had some great conversations with John and Marilyn. The room was very comfortable, clean and affordable. A nice quiet retreat (away from the noise on the Malecon) but the restaurants and rum bars are all within a short walk so no need to drive if you don't want to. Would recommend Casa...
