My family and I loved La Finca!! It felt like we were staying with friends! Everything we needed was there, snorkel equipment, sand toys, chairs, coolers, books, games, a stocked kitchen (including grill) and much more! Everyone we met there treated us like friends, it felt more like a small community than a hotel. I can't wait to go back!

My bf and I spent a wonderful week at la finca in January 2015. We stayed in the main house and met several wonderful people that we are still in contact with. Corky and Bill were the consummate hosts, helping us with places to visit, eat and other local haunts. We loved the vibe of the place. Books, games, hammocks,...

I had a lovely and relaxed trip over Christmas 2014 with family. Our huge group descended onto the big house (La Casa Grande) for a week. We had a great time and the place was just perfect. Corky and Bill were great hosts, gave us a tour and ground rules, showed us where the bin of borrowed snorkel gear and...

La Finca Caribe was great. We met lots of nice people. We even played Cards Against Humanity on the deck of the Casa Grande one evening with people we didn't know the day before. The grounds are lovely. There's enough open space to throw a frisbee. The pool is nice and big. The view from the deck is exquisite, not...

We spend a wonderfuĺ week last December at La Finca. Tha place had been recommended by friends and we were deligthed by the experience : La Finca Caribe is a beautiful, serene, exotic place. The hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful, yet discreet. Our two sons (6 and 13) also loved the both rustic but exotic location as well as...

I love La Finca Caribe. I visited Vieques two years ago, and on a whim I visited it although I already had rented another vacation rental. I liked it so much, that when I came back to Vieques, I stayed there. What I like about it: it felt like home. It was very comfortable (swinging chairs, hammocks everywhere), the kitchen...

La Finca was our final destination on a largely surprise trip. After the cities of San Juan and Fajardo, Vieques was a welcome playground. We were on Isla Nena for 7 days, all at La Finca and never wanted to leave. For a truly magical, rustic, wonder filled place to stay La Finca Caribe is unparalleled; from the salt water...

Our son's wedding couldn't have been in a more fantastic venue! The property managers were friendly and helpful. The view is stunning. The expanded porch in the main house was the perfect spot to spend a rainy day. We will definitely return in the future.

We hosted our 74-person wedding at La Finca...and it was spectacular. From the moment we decided to get married, La Finca was our dream venue (we've stayed three times). The picturesque setting, beautifully expanded porch, and outstanding property managers all contributed to a most joyous union. La Finca worked with us to plan and execute every aspect of the event....

i just hope you know what an honor it was to have you all here with us. all weddings are, a great honor ---but with you two, having the chance to work with you for over the past three years -- its been that much more rewarding. we've learned a lot, and loved rising to the occasion. its all about...

We took a short side trip to Vieques from our Puerto Rico vacation to explore the island. La Finca was a great place to kick back, relax, and regroup. We enjoyed our accommodations. It is a bit on the "rustic" side with regard to amenities - not many - but that is part of the charm of this type of...

Hi there and thanks for the kind words...so glad you had a good time, with us and exploring Vieques. We've been trying to figure out when you stayed, as we haven't had bikes of our own for years. (?) We can help folks find rentals though, and they deliver them to the Finca...so it all works. Just didn't want anyone...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Vieques' most beautiful rustic getaway and original eco-tourism destination since 1995....A rare taste of the Caribbean -- the way it used to be, quiet, natural & affordable. Perfect for groups of two to thirty, workshops, family reunions, or romantic getaways for just the two of you. Anyone who likes off the beaten track and wants to experience the Caribbean the way it was meant to be: quiet, natural and affordable. Salt water pool, outdoor showers, hammocks, views and breezes. La Finca is a cluster of handmade houses -- our large wooden main house, Casa Grande, alone can sleep 18-22, but we also have two family size cabanas and two smaller casitas, all on 3 acres of fruit trees & palms, on the off-beat island of Vieques, seven miles from Puerto Rico's eastern shore; a 25 minute flight and a world away from San Juan....We're up in the hills, with beautiful views and tradewinds, three miles away from the bustle of town...Talk about getting away! We're not a hotel, or a b&b ... The finca is our family's own private "finca" that we love to share with like-minded eco travelers -- folks who like things as natural and simple as possible. Our towels don't match, our showers are outdoors (don't worry -- they're private), the skies are jet black and studded with stars, and the property is dotted in coco palms, mangoes, starfruit, bananas, and a dozen hammocks ... Tropical summer camp, quiet and beautiful. Think Swiss Family Robinson... (Please note: Feb-March 2015 renting the whole finca means all houses/cabins with exception of Cabanita and includes 10 bedrooms with 7 baths and can sleep up to 33.) ... more   less
