I spent two out of six nights here and I must admit that they have been absolutely the worst! Really really rude staff, small rooms, no windows and bad service should be enough to mark this hotel with a big black cross and never come back again!!! In my opinion the best hotel is The Gallery Inn, straight on the...

With the help of TripAdvisor, I found out about this great hotel in San Juan. The staff was friendly, the rooms made me feel like I was right at home, and the location was more than perfect. It's on a cute, cobblestone street with lots of great restaurants and entertainment just steps away. The hotel is not loaded with amenities,...

This hotel had a great location, decent rooms and a nice rooftop breakfast but that's about all the positive things I can say. The staff was quite rude to us. Every time we went to the lobby they seemed annoyed that we were interrupting their games of solitaire to ask a question. When we'd walk through the lobby, there would...

Hotel Milano is more of a place to sleep than a destination itself. Do not expect to be wowed by the hotel decor, service, or ammenities. Hotel Milano offers clean, basic rooms. Its strength is its location in the heart of Old San Juan, just steps from the best restaurants, bars, and nightlife. If you plan on spending signficant time...

This hotel is not an upscale hotel, despite the description they write up on their webpage and on the front of the tripadvisor page here. There is nothing upscale about this place-- as someone just posted, it does feel like a flashback to the motor hotels so popular more than a while ago. However, the room was pretty clean, but...

Like others, we wanted a convenient place to spend 2 nights before and 2 nights after a cruise. The Milano really did remind us of a 50s hotel, or one in a third world country - we do a lot of international travel. The carpet and bedding were very old, but clean enough. The plastic flower arrangements and old kitchen...

May be our hotel is not as chic as the one recommended in the review but we have a large and efficient elevator, you don't have to carry your luggage by stairs as is the case there and that is more important for most people.

We found this hotel thru traveladvisor . It is a two star hotel due to the services not offered . However they are the best two star hotel . Meaning the room was very clean and was cleaned every day as was the entire hotel everything was very clean and neat . The air conditioner was as cold as you...

We have stayed at Hotel Milano twice in the past few years. It has an ideal location in historic Old San Juan. You can walk to the incredible old forts, shore side walking paths, and fantastic restaurants. You can also walk to the Bacardi Distillery if you want to. It is in a very nice, safe neighborhood where residents and...

Due to some timing difficulties with the airlines, my husband and I stayed at the Hotel Milano on the first night of our honeymoon before heading to Vieques for the week. It was a short trip from the San Juan airport and an even shorter trip from Isla Grande airport, our destination the next morning. We arrived in the evening...

After reading some recent reviews of hotel Milano I was a bit nervous to book my stay there. After I got to the hotel, I was sooo glad that I booked it because it is in the perfect location. The noise is not as bad as I thought it would be. It is noisy (after all it is on Fortaleza...
