We traveled last week to San Juan de Puerto Rico and booked five nights at the Gallery Inn. We were three people and stayed in a suite with king bed and sofa extension. The experience has been terrible, the price per night was $ 261 with taxes included. Nothing in this hotel corresponded with this price: no elevator, no staff...

We are truly sorry that the Gallery Inn experience was not what you hoped, and that you feel unsatisfied with the value of the experience that we offer. Everywhere on our website (and other points of sale) we try to emphasize the uniqueness of our Inn, and the historic elements of our 300 year old home, which provide an experience...

My 15 year old traveled to Puerto Rico with a group for a service project. While at the airport, he realized he had misplaced his wallet and called the hotel to see if it was there. They not only found the wallet, but said they would mail it to our home. When the box arrived, we were surprised to see...

I traveled solo to San Juan and had no desire to be in a generic resort, no matter how lovely it might be. I wanted the history and location of Old San Juan. The Gallery Inn provided this and more. It's located on Norzagaray midway between El Morro and San Cristobal forts and has a great view of La Perla...

Me and my wife we did stay one night at the gallery Inn. When we arrived the receptionist was very pleasant. He took us to our room that was on the last flour without elevator and a small old stair that we felt like is ready to go down. The room was nice decorated but small but at least we...

We could not have asked for a more perfect hotel! It was beautiful, and exemplified Old San Juan for us. We had a gorgeous room (I think some of the rooms are smaller), and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The pool area and rooftop deck were both breathtaking, and the historic feel of the building, combined with the...

I enjoyed immensely a 6 night stay at the Gallery Inn in early April of this year. Let me begin by saying, as has been said by many other guests, that this will be one of the most unique experiences you will ever encounter in your travels. And I say that in a positive way. From buildings that are at...

The Gallery Inn is unlike other hotels you've ever been to. It's very artistic and imaginative, and every room is different and pleasantly surprising. There are flowering plants accompanied by beautiful artwork made by the owner. There are many paintings, sculptures, and statues everywhere and they are so divine and lovely. At night the garden is illuminated by lights strung...

I was blessed to be apart of the Gallery Inn's most important celebration of the year, Jan D'Esopo's Birthday Party. She invited me and my partner to a magical night of cocktails at the beach shack with live music, along with a concert given by Jan's grandson. It was also extraordinary to see that the concert was in the actual...

First thing: this isn't your typical hotel chain. They don't have your modern amenities. Cons: no appliances in room, some rooms have A/C you can controll and some don't, they still have A/C but no thermostat. All the rooms are different, looks, shape and size(this could be good, but also bad because how do you know which room to pick?...
