If you are looking for a unique hotel to stay, then the Gallery Inn is the place for you. The owner has artwork on display throughout the entire hotel. Even the swimming pool was created with an artistic flair. There are only about 25 rooms at this hotel, and when you stay here, you kind of feel like you are...

This is definitely a one-of-a-kind place, with interesting courtyards, nooks and crannies, winding stair cases, birds all over the place, and a beautiful rooftop. It's more of a B&B type place than a hotel. The rooms all seem like they will be different. We had one with a double bed and a single bed with a small bathroom. The place...

We stayed two nights at the Gallery Inn - late March, 2013. We had a lovely time and could have stayed longer. Each and every staff member we came into contact with was incredibly warm and friendly, especially with our two young kids (ages 4 & 5). The inn is a place to sightsee in and of itself, with the...

Just a few tweaks, and this will be a five.....I was surprised, considering we had a hot tub on the veranda that we were only given one towel each for our shower, and use of the hot tub. For the fee charged, this should be an automatic. We were also called late each afternoon to find out if we wanted...

This is the most magical place we've ever stayed. It was a non-stop feast for the eyes and the imagination. Everywhere you look there are sculptures, flowers, critters, color, and textures. I hated to leave. The pool felt great after a hot day walking by the old wall in San Juan. The view from the roof garden is fantastic. The...

It's hard to review this amazing place using the standard hotel criteria: It's got huge personality that comes with attitude. We were gobsmacked with our room, Sebastion, which could have been a Pirate Ship Captains lair. The place has mystery and quirky charm to spare. We stayed at El Convento earlier. The Gallery Inn is its wildly creative and slightly...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights March 7 & 8 2013. Staff very friendly and helpful. Birds interesting. Location good. Would only stay there again if they got a few things worked out, cleaniness, air-conditioning and cost. Not a good value. Way too expensive for what you get. We really wanted to like this place, but it fell...

This hotel is made up of 3 houses, all quite old, which form this unique hotel. The staff is very nice, if not efficient. We had to ask to have our room made up at 3 pm, and were told that they have until 6 pm to make up the rooms, hmmm. The free breakfast is okay, but the coffee...

We had a couple good recommendations prior to our stay, so we kinda knew what to expect... but were still amazed and thrilled with this place (and it's cocktail hour Beach House, just a 7 minute walk away). Fantastic panoramic views from the rooftop deck, excellent breakfast (stellar corn muffins!). We were in the "library" and would love to have...

Although the common rooms are full of sculpture and art, which I love, the inn is just plain dirty. It's difficult to enjoy the interesting architecture and the meandering rooms when all you can see is the lack of cleanliness. I couldn't wait to leave, frankly. I am not a clean freak, but everywhere I looked there was a layer...

March is the month of active trade winds. Kites fly in abundance over the near by fields of El Morro and everywhere there are the dropped leaves of our desiduos tropical trees shedding themselves in preparation for spring’s new growth. The Inn’s public areas are totally open to all these weather changes, while all rooms are provided with excellent air...
