We had a great four-day stay at Caleta 64 in the La Puerta apartment on the first floor. The location was absolutely the best - walking distance to the port area (very touristy down there with lots of restaurants hawking their wares to the cruise ship customers) and to everywhere else in Old San Juan including historic attractions. The street...

Very comfortable with much rustic charm. Supports self-catering which is good for us, although some basic utensils and other equipment was lacking. Excellent location and the owner, Betsy, was very friendly and accommodating. Wifi was quite slow and unreliable, and the air conditioner was either off or on full icy blast. Would recommend.

Authentic old-world charm and modernized! Can't beat the location! Within walking distance everywhere in Old San Juan! Owner Betsy was there when needed and gave us lots of pointers of where to shop, go to the Food Festival, and even gave us emergency information on a half-day PR Island excursion with "Martin" when our originally-scheduled excursion had moved to the...

My wife and I rented the Casablanca apartment at Caleta 64 last week. It was very centrally located, just half a block from the old San Juan gate, and from the cathedral. Easy walking to numerous places to eat, parking, El Moro, etc. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was very nice as we packed minimally, and being...

Stayed here for 3 days after coming off a cruise. First time in San Juan and really enjoyed it. Stayed in both the second floor apartments because of previous bookings. Both very nice, back one was quieter but loved the balcony on the front one. Really don't have a preference, both excellent and have what you need although we didn't...

We stayed in the Adoquin apartment on the second floor with street view. The apartment is very spacious with high ceiling, and is fully equipped with washer, dryer, fridge, microwave, and other kitchen appliance. The building is at great location, very close to the cathedral, and in walking distance to other tourist attractions, and restaurants.

I stayed here for a week recently while in San Juan for a conference and I couldn't have had a better base from which to explore the old town. The cathedral is at one end of the street, the old city gate at the other. The street itself is beautiful (and there are cats!) with all the multi-coloured row houses...

Great location in old town, though parking is extremely limited.Think hard before driving in and out (or expecting to). The room was clean, well stocked, walking distance to everything, with amazing balconies over the cobblestone streets.

We stayed in La Puerta with our two boys, 11 & 13. La Puerta was perfect for a family of four especially with the kitchen and laundry. We went on two adventure tours with caves and waterfalls which meant that we really needed the washer and dryer! La Puerta is immaculate and a very beautiful place with so many details...

We stayed in the Ballaja and loved it. The whole place was very clean, beautiful, and spacious. The air conditioning and wifi worked well, the kitchen was great to have, and the location (right by the gate to Old San Juan) was perfect. Parking is hard to come by, but Betsy was nice enough to help direct me to places...
