Jah B's Place is clean and friendly, well off the beaten track (you will need to ask Jah B to arrange to collect you from somewhere like Mavis Bank) but in a stunning location nestled amongst the Blue Mountain hills. Everything we asked for was provided and there were no hidden costs as some other reviewers have mentioned on here.... More

My girlfriend and I went there because I wanted to do the night climbing trek to the top. We are to blame for the fact that we did not plan our stay ahead. Beside that, we got screwed from the start till the end. First the people there never told us that it 50 U.S. dollars for the ride from... More

The guesthouse was beautiful - newly built, clean, comfy and spacious. The hosts were nice however very unfair. We agreed on a price before coming (via email) and when we got our bill, we were charged more for our room. I asked and showed them the email and price we had agreed on. They didn't care nor acknowledge our agreement.... More

My stay at Jah B's guest house was a highlight of my trip to Jamaica. It's an idyllic location -- a working Blue Mountain Coffee farm, with stunning views. Jah B's sons were excellent hosts: friendly, helpful and flexible (with advice about travel plans), and delicious home-grown and freshly-picked food. The guest house has a mix of private rooms and... The place is amazing and beautiful but to get there it costs 50$ one way. The place is located up the mountain so there are no restaurants around. Nah b is kindly offering you vegetarian food for 12$ Coffee the he brews for 4$ a cup And doesn't let you use the kitchen when you bring food. I recommend go... More

Hmmmmm.... this review is surely not comparable to your average as this is a guest house half way up the Jamaican Blue Mountains....it surely is not your regular guest house with all the expected amenities. Constructed from very nice wood on the upper level and concrete lower level... the rooms vary.....some with bunk beds and others with two bed and... More

If you want to climb the blue mountain, do not go to this guesthouse. First, they will make you sleep in a room where there is no water, so no shower. Second, the prices are way too. high. $ 50 per room, $ 100 back and forth transportation from Mavis Bank to the Guesthouse and another completely useless $50 for... More
