This visit was poor...staff suggest and ask for tips for every time they see you. On a positive note, covid precautions were great. Staff need to enforce face mask with guests. Some staff need to take much better pride.
I truly enjoy this resort. The food is great and the entertainment is amazing with true carribean vibes. The fitness instructor, Owen, always keeps my heart pumping and reverses the effects of the food.
It's a return for me n my hubby🤗🥰I had the most excited bd ever🤸♀️💃🍾🍻my spouse n I spent 4 nights n 5day at this beauty property n we have no regrets. I'm happy I choose Bahia because I was contemplating between here n Rui Ochi. Checking in was smooth sailing. We were checked in by this beautiful queen Nadralee🤗cheers to u queen, u were down to earth yet professional. We had huge room (compare to other hotels we been to) 23203, d pool was very clean. Many spots to relax talk. Special thank u to Mrs. Carlene Walters from the wedding department😘, Shawnkay and Ricardo at breakfast in d mornings, our room Attendant (didn't get her name), Andre at dinner in the buffet (as I waitress myself I really admire how u work) , Kevin from entertainment (I laughed so hard for those few days😂), Damian at the hibiscus bar🍻 (short boss yuh know yuh thing) and the omelet guy that sang every morning 😂. Stars : negative - 10 stars Please read this review especially if your used to the luxury side you will be placed on the grand side. The rooms are terribly old and dirty. If you and dust don’t get a long don’t come here. Housekeeping came in and put flowers on the bed but the room was still dirty and dusty. The first day on arrival the hot water was not working and they came in to fix the problem. Let’s just say that the water was not consistently hot. Room service : only available Sunday through Thursday 11pm to 7am. So only the times that people are sleeping. This service is available The weekend: you will see a bunch of locals. So if you look like a local you will get treated like one so full service attitude will be what your getting. Food: you will get sick if you stay here. Be careful and examine the food. This chef on the 5th of February around 1pm served me jerk chicken that was red throughout the whole chicken. How do I know? Because he chopped it up right in front of me and served it yet like that. Also limited food choice and 1 specialty restaurant opened whenever they feel like it. So if the specialty dining is open buffet is closed. History and the hotel and covid 19: Apparently this hotel allowed covid patients to stay here at the beginning of the pandemic. There is a whole article on it. I’m telling you don’t come here because you will waste your time and money. Take these bad reviews seriously , I wish I did. My driver recommends Hyatt, Iberostar and grand pallidum. Bahia principe. The hotel staff was very nice always pleasant. Gerrick was the bomb his hospitality was amazing. They made us feel like family. The drinks and the food was on point. I will definitely book this hotel.
