The rooms in this privately owned, conveniently located home are simple, very clean, and have TVs if you want to watch Jamaican channels.. Miss Lydia is well-known in town for her hospitality. The location on Queen Street is convenient and quiet, yet, it is only a 5 minute walk to downtown and the post office. There is a sunroom in... More

The guest house is not too bad ,with the great views and all. But some thing should be done about the darn water temperature and pressure. Luke warm water running at a close to a trickle makes for quite a bit of discomfort...

Myself and a group of friends stayed here for one night in February and had a great time. Jasmine, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and quickly took us to our rooms. They were clean, relatively spacious and felt "homey". My friends and I spent most of the time on the balcony when not in the rooms. The evening... More

We stayed here for one night...beautiful views from the up floor room. Clean spacious rooms with ac and good bedss. The owners of the place are really friendly too. Little minus was that the warm water didn't work properly and there is "open window(s)" for every room what you are not able to close/ cover.

We were welcomed warmly to the guesthouse by the hostess. Everything worked well and the view over the bay from the corridor/balcony was beautiful. We didn't have much choices just before New Years but we found great value for modest price. Oh, don't go to the shared kitchen, it might be a bit disgusting.

I stayed here for one night in September 2015. Lydia, the owner, was very nice on the phone and was expecting me when I arrived. She was very hospitable--she even saw how thirsty I was after a trip from Kingston and gave me a glass of water right away. The room was basic but had a nice view of the... More

The place was musty and the kitchen had eat mess on the wall and termite dust in the sick. Also not to mention the cockroach that was running on the bed. We paid $6ooo something on the room and it was not worth it because other places in the vicinity were charging less and they looked way better.

First I thought I will just avoid putting any review for this place. But in all fairness I think, I should share my experiences about the travel even though it is bad or worst. This is not like a guest house. More like a hotel but worst in terms of experience and atmosphere. They are so suspicious, and on guard... More

The first thing to say is that Lydia will do anything for you, from recommending restaurants, sorting your laundry to changing rooms if required. The breakfast is very Jamaican but mostly nice. However the first morning they did run out of fruit juice and jam. My first room was downstairs (Room 1) - and it was very basic with a... More

Arrived in Port Antonio without reservation, all the "big" hotels full, this was suggested by one of their staff. Rooms were $40 and $45, Staff was great. Jasmine made a wonderful breakfast that we ordered the night before. Rooms are small but so is price, no AC but fan keep us cool; great budget option.
