Beach was beautiful lovely, the rooms are screaming for a facelift, in need of an upgrade badly. Spend some money on your property, it would be a good investment. Would only go for the beach, would not stay there

My father took our family to Frenchman's Cove when I was a kid. Returning there as an adult left a bittersweet taste in my mouth as the resort has declined in it's appearance, the styles, furniture, fixtures, were out of the '60's and '70's, nothing had been updated or changed. I really do hope that the owners have plans to...

I've visited Frenchman's Cove eight times over 15 years, each time in connection with a conference held there. It is the perfect venue for the events we organise, which tend to be a mixture of talks, discussions and workshops for small groups. This year there were 15 of us in all, so we could have our sessions in the living...

Stayed at Frenchman's Cove Resort for five days. Like all of the villas, our one bedroom villa overlooked the sea and the design of the villa provided for a beautiful view of the sea. The villa was clean and comfortable and kept that way during our stay by the wonderful housekeeping staff. The complimentary breakfast was perfect and provided delicious...

We recently stayed at Frenchman's Cove Resort and had an amazing experience in this blissful piece of paradise. As mentioned in some of the reviews here, it is an older resort and there are a few cosmetic shortcomings to the bathrooms. But we enjoyed flawless hot water and excellent service from the staff and management alike. Our clifftop Villa had...

My hubby and I love Portland. We wanted to get away from Kingston for a couple of days and decided to stay here because it wasn't over the top expensive like so many other places are. Boy did we get what we paid for. We started in the Greathouse...such a laughable name. The building is run down, the rooms look...

I am writing this review sitting on the deck of my villa at Frenchman's overlooking the cliff and sea. It is a spectacular view, the weather is perfect, and there is 8 inches of snow and ice at home. We are very grateful to be in paradise. This is the second year I brought group to Frenchman's Cove for a...

There are no pictures on the hotel's website of the rooms in "The Great House" but from the description and the pictures of the beach you expect quite nice accommodations. The property is enormous and consists of several small houses in private settings. We were booked in The Great House. There was only one person in the office when we...
