This was our 5th time to Jamaica but first time to Negril. Found it online and it sounded unique and personal. It was just that with beautiful views, warm personable staff and fun opportunities chased with delicious food and good drinks. The County Boy made by Bryan and snorkeling with Paul were my 2 fav things

I loved the staff and the lay out of the hotel. We were greeted with a drink and a tour around the property. It was a very unique room, not the traditional "Americanized standard" I really felt the island vibe from the decor to the built of the rooms and the food was also delicious.

We stayed here in August of 2016 for our honeymoon, and are still stunned by the amazing experience we had. We wanted a smaller, more personable resort, and that is exactly what we got. It very much felt more authentic than your typical all-inclusive. The rooms were perfect, and each seemed to have its own flair. I would 100% want...

Very poor customer relations! They sent me email saying romantic dinner was included in our stay and confirmed our booking! When we arrived they charged us full price for another night then we had to find another hotel... the worst part was they talked with me previously then treated me like I was wrong :(. Scammed!

Dear Glenangvos, We are sorry you paid one- third of one night's rate for a seven night stay on a dubious online site and thought that was enough to cover your entire stay even after knowing what the real rates are. We are extremely sorry after saying you understand that there was no reservation for you on arrival because we...

The Caves is a magical place. Our room was awesome; it felt like a hut but also very private and the outdoor shower was a treat. The resort is not small but there are only about a dozen rooms so it felt very private. The views are incredible no matter where you are. We dove into the ocean from a...

I came here with my friend who had a massage appointment and took the opportunity to eat breakfast here. It was $25 a person but soooo worth it! They just kept the food coming and told me not to be shy. They gave me an abundance of fruit which was delicious as well. After breakfast we cliff jumped which was...

I cannot say enough amazing things about The Caves. Not only about the place itself but about the amazing staff they have working. They cater to your every need. We stayed in a Villa for 3 days as the first part of our 9 day Jamaica trip. This place is so private and tucked away you can actually get lost...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Caves sits along the limestone cliffs of the West End of Negril, right next to the famous Negril Lighthouse in Jamaica. Although situated only a few miles away from the bustling town center, this private enclave is a world apart. Eleven handcrafted wood and stone thatched-roof cottages, plus a 4-bedroom fully self-contained luxury villa, are interwoven between ten acres of lush vegetation and naturally formed volcanic caves. Quaint stone pathways wind through the limestone cliffs dotted with palm, sea grape and dogwood trees overlooking the Caribbean Sea. An arrangement of coral stairs and walkways lead to sundecks with uninterrupted views of the sea and sky, and grottos with turquoise water pools and fossilized marine life. A tropical reef system comes right up to the edge of the cliff, perfect for snorkeling. Guests can climb down ladders into the sea or take a leap from several “jump points,” the highest of which is 30 feet! An intimate, private and unique resort, The Caves is perfect for romance and relaxation. The Caves generally does not accept children under 16 years old. Exceptions must be cleared with the hotel management. ... more   less
